Doctor Who is back with another, sure to be amazing, Christmas special this year. BBC America has just handed us everything you’ll need to know about when, where, and how to see it.

The new Doctor Who Christmas special, titled “The Doctor, The Widow, and The Wardrobe” is set to premiere on BBC America on Sunday, December 25th at 9:00pm EST/PST. The special episode features guest stars Claire Skinner, Bill Bailey, Arabella Weir, and Alexander Armstrong. Here’s the newly released official description of the ep.

Set during World War II, the special follows Madge Arwell and her two children, Lily and Cyril, who have been evacuated to a draughty old house in Dorset. When they arrive they are met by the property’s caretaker, a mysterious young man in a bow tie, and a big blue parcel is waiting for them under the tree. They are about to enter a magical new world and learn that a Time Lord never forgets his debts…

But that’s only a piece of the Doctor Who Christmas puzzle. BBC America has decided to dedicate nearly the entire holiday to celebrating the Christmas adventures of the Doctor. It starts on December 23 as the BBC begins counting down to the premiere of the new Christmas Special by revisiting Doctor Christmases past, with a marathon of Doctor Who Christmas Specials. The marathon continues right on through December 25th.

Then on Christmas Eve things really get going with the world premiere of a new special entitled Doctor Who: Best of The Christmas Specials. Here’s how they describe the Best of doc:

This all-new special takes an inside look at the very best moments from the incredible Doctor Who Christmas specials that have captivated audiences around the world. A collection of fans from the celebrity, comedy, sci-fi and digital worlds discuss their favorite moments from Doctor Who Christmas specials as part of the countdown to this year’s main event.

And that brings you to the new special on December 25th. Stoke the fire and spend Christmas in the TARDIS. It’s what The Doctor would do.
