The announcement of new Star Wars films was exciting enough, but it went up a notch or two when original trilogy actors Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, and Carrie Fisher all said they’d be game to return to the characters that helped make them household names. Star Wars fans have spent the days since speculating what adventures the older versions of Luke, Han, and Leia might get up to in the new trilogy, but so far we don’t have much concrete information. Still, if you’d like a little help envisioning what Episode VII might have to offer, check out this custom-made action figure. Behold: Old Solo.

Solo

DeviantArtist UkkoRunner created the Old Solo figure, modifying an existing Hot Toys figure to give us a look at what a retirement-age Han would look like. I have to say, he’s held up remarkably well. Sure, he might be a little slower on the draw these days, and it might take him a little bit longer to get down into the gunnery pods, but he’s still got it where it counts. I bet he could make the Kessel Run in less than 15 parsecs. Seventeen at the outside.

This does make me wonder, though: is there a silver-haired Chewbacca wandering around somewhere?
