Outlander
Star Trek veteran Ronald D. Moore executive produced Syfy’s hit-and-miss Helix, but Outlander marks his first return as a day-to-day series showrunner since Syfy’s Battlestar Galactica reboot. The Outlander series, based on the books by Diana Gabaldon, will premiere on Starz on August 9. The Comic-Con panel included Moore, author Diana Gabaldon, and cast members Caitriona Balfe, Sam Heughan, Tobias Menzies, Graham McTavish, and Lotte Verbeek.
Person of Interest
CBS’ Person of Interest is pretty much the only CBS show I have any interest in, and the show, created by Christopher Nolan’s bro Jonathan, will return for a fourth season on September 23. The panel included actors Jim Caviezel, Michael Emerson, Kevin Chapman, Sarah Shahi, and Amy Acker, as well as creator/executive producer Jonathan Nolan, executive producer Greg Plageman.
