juddLet’s play everyone’s favorite game: How Similar to Ashley Judd Are You? After deciding that you don’t really want to make a run for the Senate anymore, do you consider running for the mayor of Walla Walla, Washington? Do you build a house made out of lemon peels? Or do you take a lucrative role in a highly anticipated adaptation of a young adult sci-fi novel? If you chose either of the first two answers, I’m sorry to tell you that you are not, in fact, similar to Ashley Judd.

Judd took one of the last lead roles in Summit/Lionsgate’s Divergent, the adaptation of Veronica Roth’s popular novel. It seems like a good time to finish casting the leads, considering its Chicago production began this past week, led by director Neil Burger.

Chicago — or at least a futuristic version of it — is where the novel takes place, after the city has been broken up into five factions based on personality types. Tris Prior, played by Sheilene Woodley (The Spectacular Now), is our main character, forced either to stay within her family’s faction or to choose another, like her brother Caleb (Ansel Elgort). Judd will play their mother, who sees them both leave the nest, and comes back into the story again later. It’s not a huge role, but it’s perfect for an actress like Judd. She joins a cast that already includes Kate Winslet, Theo James, Jai Courtney, Miles Teller, Zoe Kravitz, and Maggie Q.

Just to repeat, the name of the film is Divergent, so you don’t get it mixed up with any of the other YA adaptations out there, because there are a ton.
