Thanksgiving may have come and gone, but fans of the Mass Effect franchise will get something else to give thanks for tomorrow with the launch of Omega, a new DLC expansion for Mass Effect 3. The expansion is set during the campaign of Mass Effect 3, just like this past summer’s Leviathan pack, but this time Shepard finds himself/herself joining forces with Aria, the ruthless overlord of the Omega space station, as wretched a hive of scum and villainy as you’re likely to find in the ME universe. Check out the launch trailer below.

Die-hard Mass Effect fans will recall that during the timeline of ME3, Omega had been taken over by the human-first terrorist group known as Cerberus, under the lead of the mysterious and powerful Illuisve Man. The Omega expansion is said to be the biggest DLC to date, and in addition to the new missions, it will also provide new weapons and a playable female Turian, who you can see in the video. That last bit is kind of cool because I don’t believe we’ve actually seen a female Turian up till this point.

I’m not one who hated the ME3 endings like some did, so I’m definitely looking forward to going back through the games to experience the Leviathan and Omega DLC content. Omega will be available tomorrow, Tuesday November 27th, for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC.
