As we usher out a horrendously rotten 2020 and welcome a hopeful 2021, we may not be alone in doing both. According to multiple witnesses who were able to shoot video of the UFO incident, aliens have arrived to help ring in the new year.
The incident took place on December 29, 2020, in the evening sky above Oahu, Hawaii. The UFO filmed was oblong in shape and was glowing a bright blue. The object hovered, then moved quickly, before it finally dove into the ocean. Witnesses called the police and the Federal Aviation Administration, whose officials said there were no aircraft incidents or accidents at that particular time.
One of the witnesses of the UFO, Misitina Sape, could be heard on her video saying, “Something is in the sky. What is that?” Her video was shot at 8:26 in the evening on Haleakala Avenue in Nanakuli, Oahu. Shortly after, another witness named Moriah said to Hawaii News Now she spotted the same bright blue object in the sky, “I look up and then I was like oh sh*t!,” she said. “I started calling my husband and them because they were all in the garage. I was like hey. Come look up there. See if you see what I see. They all said yea!” While Moriah told the news network she was never a believer in UFO’s, her family was so amazed by what they saw that they jumped in their car to follow it. Their journey ended about three miles away on Farrington Highway right in front of the island’s Board of Water Supply when the blue object dropped out of the sky and into the ocean. Moriah could be heard in one of her video’s comments, “(It) went land in the water. Whatever it is.”
They were able to call the police who arrived on the scene shortly after the blue UFO went to water. Police were skeptical, that is until another object appeared in the sky. “My husband went look up and he seen the white one coming,” she said. “The white one was smaller. Was coming in the same direction as the blue one.” The object disappeared from their view when it went behind a nearby mountain.
Local police were asked by the news agency if they had any information about what fell out of the sky and a spokesperson said they had none. FAA spokesperson Ian Gregor did confirm they received a report from the police concerning a possible downed aircraft in the area “but had no aircraft disappear off radars. And no reports of overdue or missing aircraft.”
Along with its description (and video evidence) that the UFO was bright blue and oblong, Moriah says the object was silent and larger than a telephone pole.
This sighting is only one of many coming to light in the past few months. Earlier in 2020, the Navy acknowledged that the previously classified video of three “unidentified aerial phenomena” was real and declassified them for all to see. Also leaked was a government photo of a cube-shaped UFO. Most recently, Harvard professor and chair of Harvard’s Department of Astronomy, Avi Loeb, says he has already found evidence of alien existence and it didn’t come in the form of a flying saucer but in the form of their garbage. In Loeb’s upcoming book, Extraterrestrial: The First Sign of Intelligent Life Beyond Earth, he paints a compelling picture as to why an object that cruised into our solar system was not simply a rock, but he feels it was a piece of alien technology.
According to Loeb the object, which had been described as a large space rock, traveled toward our solar system from a near-by star (25-light years) called Vega and entered our solar system on September 6, 2017. But, in Loeb’s estimation, there were too many unusual properties of the object that led him to believe they were looking at something other than a simple space rock. For instance, the shape. After observing its brightness and rotation, scientists concluded the object was five to 10 times longer than it was wide – cigar-shaped in nature. Its brightness was also another factor. Loeb says the surface was like shiny metal. But the thing that really convinced Loeb was the way it moved. “The excess push away from the sun — that was the thing that broke the camel’s back,” he wrote. Using physics, scientists have the ability to determine the speed an object gains as the sun’s gravitational pull takes over. Then, as the object passes, scientists are able to see the speed decrease as the object gets further from the sun. But according to Loeb, this object, which they are calling Oumuamua, didn’t follow projected trajectories. In fact, what scientists saw was mind-blowing. The object increased its speed “slightly, but to a highly statistically significant extent,” wrote Loeb.
What they thought was a simple explanation, comets can accelerate because as they get near the sun, their previously frozen gasses are released which sort of act like a rocket-engine. But when this happens, they also produce a tail for which many comets are famous. This UFO had no tail.
Is the UFO sighting in the Hawaiian skies just the beginning? Have we already seen proof positive that we are not alone? 2021 is just beginning and “Independence Day” is still seven months away. Maybe we should start preparing now.
