NASA’s Cassini and Voyager missions have provided thousands of images of Jupiter, Saturn, and their environs. In and of itself, this footage is stunning and majestic, and space junkies could – and have – lost countless hours to simply browsing through the pictures. Filmmaker Sander van den Berg, however, thought he could find even more beauty in them by finding consecutive images and splicing them together to create, in its most basic form, a motion picture. Edit it all together with a score by The Cinematic Orchestra, and you’ve got a beautiful way to kill two minutes of your afternoon. Enjoy.
