Dragonflight, the upcoming expansion for massively multiplayer online role-playing game World of Warcraft, is scheduled to launch on November 28, and it brings a ton of new content to the game, including rideable dragons, new dragonkin humanoids called Dracthyr, and a new player class, the Evoker. Those interested in the expansion can pre-order it on Battle.net or try out its offerings on World of Warcraft’s Public Test Server. Of course, it goes without saying that you need an active subscription to play the game or try out World of Warcraft Dragonflight.

We previously reported on the upcoming ninth expansion for one of the best and longest-running MMOs when the information about it leaked online. Now, six months later, there’s more detail about the upcoming expansion that’s set to release within two months. Adding on top of what we already know about the game, IGN has reported that World of Warcraft Dragonflight will launch with eight new dungeons as well as four new zones — the Dragon Isles — each centered around a specific dragon aspect.

As for the raiding content, World of Warcraft Dragonflight is most likely to include one raid initially, though it’s likely that it will be unavailable for a couple of weeks post-launch. More raids are likely to follow in the upcoming patches. The new Evoker class has two specializations and serves either as a ranged damage dealer or a healer that harnesses the ancient power of the dragonkind. The new race, however, is available in PTR for those who had pre-ordered World of Warcraft Dragonflight.

There’s plenty of hype around ridable dragons in World of Warcraft Dragonflight, but the truth is that the dragons have been ridable ever since the game added flying mounts in its first expansion, the Burning Crusade, which launched in 2007. The leveling experience though all previous content has been reworked, and players now don’t have to go through all expansions to reach end-content. Instead, they can choose their favorite narrative and play until they reach the current content. It’s a neatly designed system that allows gamers to experience each previous expansion entirely.

As for the level cap, skills, talents, and profession, World of Warcraft Dragonflight introduces slightly reworked systems. The profession system within World of Warcraft is fantastic; it’s more than just sideline content since it actually drives the game’s economy. Most essential professions are typically updated regularly; however, some are given more attention than others, and their revival has been due for quite some time now.

The news about the level cap actually goes hand in hand with the new dungeons in World of Warcraft Dragonflight. Four dungeons will be available to all players as they start their journey, while the other four are exclusive to those who reach the new level cap — level 70. These dungeons will only be available in Heroic difficulty, which means that they’re tougher to complete, but also more rewarding than typical dungeons.

For those returning to the game considering the new World of Warcraft Dragonflight expansion, the game is currently offering Winds of Wisdom +50% experience buff, which aids in leveling new characters for the upcoming expansion.
