Yet another Fall Guys collaboration has been announced, and the free-to-play battle royale is now partnering with Invinciblea popular Amazon Prime Video animated superhero series. This is just another crossover in Fall Guys’ long list of collaborations since the game previously crossed over with Disney’s Encanto, right after the developers introduced a sexually suggestive skin to one of the best family-friendly battle-royale games on the current gaming market.

Invincible, Omni-Man, and Atom Eve—all major characters from the Invincible animated series, are scheduled to arrive on Fall Guys on January 5, 2023, as reported by the game’s official Twitter page. The newest collaboration with another fan-favorite franchise will grant players the opportunity to don skins from their favorite animated series. Skins for Mark, Omni-Man, and Atom Eve will become available for purchase in Fall Guys’ in-game store, so players shouldn’t be surprised to see their beanies soaring through matches.

Fall Guys is a family-friendly game, so we likely won’t see as much gore as we’ve gotten used to seeing in the Invincible animated show. Other than what’s already stated, unfortunately, we can’t offer any more details on the collaboration, such as the price of skins or whether they’ll become available as individual or bundle purchases—in all probability, they’ll become available as both individual or bundle purchases. Of course, in addition to skins, just like with all previous collaborations, Fall Guys will also introduce the appropriate Patterns, Nameplates, and Nicknames.

Fall Guys became a free-to-play game some time ago, which now usually attracts players the same way Fortnite does. No, we’re not talking about the controversial invasion of privacy for monetization purposes—we’re still discussing adding new skins and various cosmetics to the game. Most of these stems from various crossover collaborations with fan-favorite franchises, such as Sonic or Portal, which serve to interest active and recurring players, and also fans of the property that the game is collaborating with.

In the case of Invincible, the collaboration with Fall Guys is a good way to celebrate the animated show’s 20th anniversary. Believe it or not, the Invincible franchise turns 20 years old this year, but it only caught the attention of mainstream audiences in 2021 when Amazon Prime Video decided to launch the first season. If that sounds old, remember that the original Dragon Ball came out in 1984, and it’s turning 40 next year. Regardless, the first season of Invincible was a massive success, and it introduced larger audiences to the franchise.

It became so popular that Amazon commissioned the making of a second season, which is supposed to drop sometime this year. Many fans are actually interpreting Fall Guys’ collaboration with Invincible as Amazon’s way of covertly telegraphing that the continuation of the fan-favorite franchise adaptation is still alive and developing according to schedule. Fall Guys, on the other hand, has received a ton of new features since it launched in 2020, including the fact that the game became accessible across all major platforms as a free-to-play release.

Fall Guys is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
