Snoop Dogg is perhaps more famous for being involved in every industry these days than he is for pioneering the sound of gangsta rap. Whether he’s coaching his son’s football team, live-streaming video games, writing cookbooks, or appearing in Comedy Central roasts, you can rest assured the superstar is giving each passion project his all.

Now Post Consumer Brands has confirmed the legendary 51-year-old entrepreneur is releasing a new line of cereals under his brand Broadus Foods, in collaboration with his friend and mentor Master P.

The three cereals currently scheduled to release are Frosted Drizzlerz, Cinnamon Toasteez, and Fruity Hoopz. This will surely be the best collaborative effort between a music icon and a breakfast cereal in recent memory. Snoop Dogg stated that a portion of all the proceeds from Broadus Foods will be paid to charities that help tackle homelessness and food insecurity.

This is the latest in a series of charitable efforts put forth by prolific hip-hop artists such as Snoop Dogg and Master P. Each ha exvepressed through their decades of music that they grew up in low-income neighborhoods and saw many friends and family members lose their lives due to economic insecurity.

Breakfast cereal may not seem like a highly nutritious or luxurious item, but to young children in unfortunate situations, this could make a world of difference. The duo partnered with Post Consumer Brands to bring the cereal to a wide audience across the country.

Cinnamon Toasteez will be a crispy wheat and rice-based cereal with a sweetened twist and a cinnamon kick, while Fruity Hoopz will serve as the company’s multigrain cereal with colorful marshmallow fruits. Frosted Drizzlerz will be a sweetened frosted whole grain which Snoop Dogg made special care to ensure meets WIC requirements.

Meeting WIC requirements entails that the cereal will be able to feed those most in need while the profits continue to give back to the community and support those in need.

The packaging will include a lineup of colorful mascots, including brightly colored characters named Hercules, Roxy, Max, Mr. Polar Bear, and the K-9 team leader, Captain Ace. The original Snoop Dogg cereal was planned to be called Snoop Loops, but apparently, that name wouldn’t pass copyright filters.

Snoop Dogg’s collaborative efforts with Master P go back decades, as Master P helped to mentor Snoop through the treacherous ebbs and flows of the rap game after the artist’s tumultuous departure from Death Row Records in 1998.

Master P has long been a community advocate in hip hop, supporting young artists in the pursuit of growing their financial interests through business and owning their master recordings. The pair have remained friends and collaborators ever since, culminating in business moves such as this which provide food and security to communities who need it the most.

Snoop cereal will be available for purchase nationally as early as June 2023. We’re nearly certain that Snoop Dogg will already have started three or four new business ventures by that point in time.
