Reese Witherspoon’s Daughter Looks Like Her Twin, And Is Wanted To Replace Her
Reese Witherspoon has a young daughter that happens to look exactly like her. Though her daughter hasn't yet acted, she could be on her way to replacing her mother.
Reese Witherspoon has a daughter that looks exactly like her. Ava Phillipe is her name, and though she has mostly stayed out of the spotlight, she could be starting her journey into the world of acting soon. Reese is currently putting together the long-awaited Legally Blonde 3, which is being written by Mindy Kailing. Kailing recently discussed the possibility of adding Ava to the cast, which said would be a “joy.” We are not entirely sure if Ava would be a younger Elle Woods, but she could certainly pull it off. There is no denying that Ava looks exactly like her mother, Reese Witherspoon. It is quite uncanny. It would make sense for her daughter to play a younger version of herself in a film, though we are not sure if that would be Legally Blonde 3. Reese has been teasing what would be happening in the life of Elle Woods, since we last saw her. In Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde, Elle took on animal testing in Washington D.C. Now, Reese has stated that Elle might be in Congress or even Madame President. Ava could potentially portray Elle’s daughter in the film. Appearing as a younger version of Elle might be a bit confusing, considering Elle’s story had not begun until she applied to Harvard and got in. She hadn’t exactly wanted to go there her whole life, making a flashback sequence might not make sense.
Mindy Kailing has given a bit of insight into writing Legally Blonde 3, as she stated they wrote Elle Woods at age 40, so she is far different than how she was when she was 21. The first sequel film did come out in 2003, so it has been nearly 20 years since we saw the character and this franchise. Reese Witherspoon could be involved in some sort of flashback that would incorporate her daughter into the film, but we will have to wait a bit before we find that out. The idea is to likely release Legally Blonde 3 on the 20th anniversary since the first sequel film was released.
Hopefully, Ava Phillipe and Reese Witherspoon appear alongside one another, as they look exactly like one another. Although Ava has been kept out of the spotlight, for the most part, she could naturally find her way into acting. She is 22 years old and has plenty of time to decide that for herself. Both her parents would likely be thrilled about her getting into acting. Just by her looks, everyone would be quite convinced that she is a young Reese in a film.
Legally Blonde 3 is likely a year or more away, so we will have to wait to see if Reese Witherspoon is going to include her daughter in the film in some way. Ava might be on her way to replacing her mom in some capacity, or she could just relish in the idea that she takes after her mother in more ways than one.
