The next season of Only Murders in the Building keeps adding new cast members. Hulu’s breakaway podcast-centric murder mystery series has already announced that Grey’s Anatomy actor Jesse Williams, legendary actress Meryl Streep, and Ant-Man star Paul Rudd will appear in the show’s third season. Deadline reports that Emily in Paris star Ashley Park will join the star-studded cast.

Ashley Park will be joining the series as broadway ingenue Kimber. The role she will play in the season’s murder investigation has not yet been revealed, but we do know that she’ll have a recurring role in the show. This means that she will likely be much more important to the plot than some one-off cameos that have appeared in previous seasons.

Beyond her upcoming appearance in Only Murders in the Building, Ashley Park has no shortage of projects to keep her busy. The Tony-Award-nominated actress will also star in the upcoming Adele Lim-directed comedy Joy Ride and will have a minor role in the upcoming comedy-drama Beef. All of this comes on top of her starring role in Emily in Paris, which was renewed for season four all the way back in January 2022.

Only Murders in the Building has featured cameos from big-name actors since its first season, which had appearances by singer/songwriter Sting, 30 Rock star Tina Fey, The Office star Amy Ryan, and Jimmy Kimmel host Jimmy Kimmel. Season 2 continued this trend by featuring Terms of Endearment star Shirley MacLaine and Heat star Michael Rapaport.

Starring Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez, Only Murders in the Building follows three New York apartment building residents who become friends after discovering each others’ love for true crime podcasts. The show begins with a much-hated resident dying in what appears to be a suicide, though the three have their suspicions and decide to start their own podcast in which they investigate the death. The amateur sleuths bumble their way through endless false leads as they attempt to gain an audience and uncover the truth.

Unsurprisingly, the eccentric, hilarious, and unexpectedly complex murder mystery Only Murders in the Building is getting a third season. The show, created by Steve Martin following a decade-long semi-retirement, has been a huge hit for Hulu. It brought in rating numbers that have occasionally outshone shows such as The Boys and Ozark on the Nielsen ratings.

The plot of Only Murders in the Building‘s third season picks up where the second season left off, with the three leads getting caught up in the murder of fictional actor Ben Blenroy (played by Paul Rudd in the season finale). While few details of the plot have been revealed, co-creator John Hoffman has voiced a desire to increase the stakes in the season while taking the show in a new, unexpected direction. The exact date that Season 3 will premiere has not yet been announced, though we know it will be sometime in 2023.
