Since confidently strutting into the MCU as Namor in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Tenoch Huerta’s antagonist character has been one of the most talked about – and thirsted-after – newest additions to the franchise. But, fans were outraged when production made the decision to remove Namor’s – er – biggest asset and trade it in for a smaller model. Now, the star is coming forward to respond to allegations that Marvel removed his bulge by saying that the smaller one was in fact the correct size.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the actor referenced a photo that laid a trailer version of Namor next to the final cut. Huerta explains that the non-doctored image was the one that featured him with a smaller bulge, aka “the photo on the right.” He goes on to say that while “every man in the world” experiences “fragile masculinity,” he’s “not going to lie to people,” adding that the anatomically correct shot is the less abrasive picture.

The big shape in question was first seen in a trailer for the latest Marvel feature with Namor standing tall and looking rather endowed. But, by the time the film made it to screens, someone made some edits that slimmed down the package. This led fans to demand that the studio release “The Bulge Cut,” a comedic shout-out to the controversy previously plaguing Zack Snyder’s cut of Justice League.

We’ll never forget the story around the release of Black Panther which shared the tale of a girl thirsting after Michael B. Jordan so hard that she snapped her braces, with the actor later kindly paying to replace them. Well, move over Killmonger because there’s a new hunk in town. Namor’s Bulgegate is the latest MCU thirst trap to grace our screens and grab attention across social media platforms.

In Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the battle for vibranium and the safety of the titular nation’s people rages on in a new way following the death of beloved King T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman). Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), Okoye (Danai Gurira), and the Dora Milaje are on the defense against not only global powers that have their nation targeted, but also a new foe with Namor as their leader. As star-studded as ever, the feature also boasts a call sheet including Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, Florence Kasumba, Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Martin Freeman, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

The film also acts as an introduction to Ironheart, played by Dominique Thorne, a new superhero who will be receiving her own Disney+ series in 2023. An engineering prodigy, Riri Williams fashions herself a suit like that of Tony Stark’s Ironman and dubs herself Ironheart. In Wakanda Forever, she teams up with the heroes to take on their foes including Namor’s army.

While some may be disappointed that they won’t be getting “The Bulge Cut,” we can thank Tenoch Huerta for coming clean and giving us the tea on the reality of both himself and Namor’s private area. Now, put your pitchforks away and save your energy for the next big film bluff.
