If we can qualify it as such, then I think it’s safe to say that Megan Fox is making a comeback. With a couple of new movies dropping this year, the actress has taken some bigger roles in what look to be high-intensity movies. The latest just got a trailer and it has her in a somewhat compromised situation. Namely, she is handcuffed to a corpse. That’s just a little piece of what we are getting with the first look at Till Death.

From the opening to the trailer, it looks like Megan Fox is just going to enjoy a romantic weekend in a secluded estate with her fiancé. But things take a very rough turn, very early when she is basically handcuffed to his dead body. And that’s not all, there’s a couple of thieves who want their hands on something that’s in the house. Check out the trailer for Till Death.

The premise of Till Death looks simple enough. It’s a bottle escape film that pits Megan Fox in the fight for her life to stay hidden from the dudes who want to do her harm and to try and get out alive. The trailer gives the sense that there are moments that will have you on the edge of your seat and that everything here might not be as it seems.

Another thing that’s clear is that this is completely a Megan Fox film. She’s the star and doesn’t appear to have to share the screen with all that many other folks. There’s a chance that spend almost all of it along with her, evading the thieves and struggling to find any scenario that will get her out of this alive.

And this wasn’t the only Megan Fox trailer to drop this week. She’s also going to star in Midnight in the Switchgrass along with Bruce Willis and Emile Hirsch as well as Lukas Haas and Fox’s current boyfriend Colson Baker A.K.A Machine Gun Kelly. The flick is based on the true story about the hunt for a serial killer in Texas. The Randall Emmett film looks incredibly intense, possibly horrifying at times with the details around this serial killer and how Fox’s character is put in harm’s way.

For Megan Fox, these are two of the more high-profile roles the actress has had in quite some time. While she’s been working steadily, of course, this summer does represent a possible return to the limelight when it comes to feature-length films with juice. Heck, the last bigger budget film she was in really was about five years ago when she reprised the April O’Neill role in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.

Both Megan Fox movies will release this summer within weeks of each other. Till Death is due out July 2nd and Midnight in the Switchgrass will come out in theaters on July 23rd. Could we be looking at the summer of Megan Fox? It’s certainly shaping up that way.
