After weeks of waiting for Paramount to say something about Yellowstone Season 4, the network finally treated viewers to a teaser on Friday. While it doesn’t give away too much information about the new season, it was Kevin Costner’s reaction that set the internet on fire.
Reacting to the suspense-filled teaser, Kevin Costner had two simple words for fans – “I’m ready.” The actor’s remarks can be found in the comments section of Yellowstone’s official Instagram post promoting the series.
In response to Kevin Costner’s epic comment, a lot of fans expressed the same sentiment about being ready for the next chapter of Yellowstone. One fan wrote, “It’ll be a long summer waiting!” While another said, “About … damn time, cowboy!” And someone else simply said they were “Ready and waiting! Waiting, waiting, waiting.”
If the clip is anything to go by, the newest season will kick off with many of the Duttons looking for revenge after being individually targeted for assassination. Season three also saw Jamie reunite with his biological father, leading him to realize certain truths about his life that will set him on a different path.
Although fans still don’t have a set release date to mark on their calendars, Deadline states that Paramount hopes to air the new season sometime in early November. Fortunately, Kevin Costner has been keeping them busy on social media while they wait. The actor who stars as family patriarch and rancher John Dutton, often shares photos from the show on his Instagram feed, asking his followers to submit their captions and thoughts.
Back in June Kevin Costner posted a photo of himself in character as the brooding John Dutton with the caption, “What’s going through John Dutton’s mind here? Wrong answers only.” And the replies were hilarious.
A lot of fans pointed to Costner’s previous starring roles with comments like, “Have I danced with any wolves today?” Another chimed in with, “I wish I was still The Bodyguard. That was less stressful.”
While a fan of Field of Dreams commented, “I wonder if I should build a baseball field on my ranch???” Another wrote, “Wish I could pitch like Billy Chapel,” referring to Costner’s role in For the Love of the Game.
Others made fun of Costner’s Yellowstone character. “Gosh, I love Jamie,” one wrote. Another said, “That Beth is an absolute angel.” And some social media users went totally off script with more practical comments like, “Did I remember to unplug the curling iron?” and “Where did I leave my glasses?”

The plot revolves around family drama and the conflict with the bordering Native reservations, national parks, and land developers.
