Johnny Depp fans rejoice, because the actor is making his big return at this year’s Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (KVIFF). The Pirates of the Caribbean actor will star in a new trailer that will honor Russell Crowe as he receives the Crystal Globe for Outstanding Artistic Contribution to World Cinema, according to Deadline. The elaborate production will highlight Russell Crowe’s incredible acting career and the subsequent awards he has received throughout his lifetime.
The 57th Karlovy Vary Film Festival will take place from June 30 to July 8 in Karlovy Vary in the Czech Republic. Johnny Depp’s trailer will premiere during the opening ceremony on Friday, June 30. Russell Crowe will also take the stage during the opening night to perform with his longtime pop-rock band Indoor Garden Party.
The trailer will honor Russell Crowe for his many achievements, including his Academy Award-winning performances and honorable nominations. In 2000, he won an Oscar for Best Actor for his outstanding role as Maximus Decimus Meridius in Ridley Scott’s film Gladiator.
