Twenty-five years after Jerry Seinfeld wrapped up his run on the self-titled comedy Seinfeld, he’s still one of the most talked about comedians of all time. The internet recently was surprised to find out that the famed comedian is stepping foot into the world of modeling. On Tuesday, Seinfeld helped model some of Kith’s new fall collection. As expected, many longtime Seinfeld fans were taken aback by the amount of drip the legendary comedian showed off. One person even commented on social media that Kith made Seinfeld look like one of the Beastie Boys. Shot by photographer Mark Seliger, the pics show Seinfeld sitting on various items and showing off the upcoming collection. The high-top sneakers and baseball caps even led to comparisons ranging from hip-hop mixtape artists to “web3 startup founder.”

Kith founder Ronnie Fieg described Jerry Seinfeld as “one of [his] heroes.” He stated that the comedian is at the “very top of the list.” Seinfeld isn’t the only late-aged star Kith has hired for their campaigns. The company had Steve Buscemi model some of the label’s Spring 2022 collection. Seinfeld, who made his name off of being a recognizable comedian and television personality, is seen wearing Kith sweatpants, hoodies, varsity jackets, and other various Kith clothing. The items in the pics are part of a capsule developed alongside Russel Athletic and the City University of New York. In his Instagram caption about the upcoming Fall line, Seinfeld wrote that he was “honored” to model the upcoming Kith collection. His wife, Jessica Seinfeld, reacted to the various looks on social media with a fire emoji. Seinfeld’s friend, Gwyneth Paltrow, commented with “#hotjerry.” While the 68-year-old comedian isn’t known for being a fashion model for any company, the reaction thus far has made everyone wonder if there’s anything the comedian can’t do.

Comedy Central named Jerry Seinfeld the 12th-greatest stand-up comedian of all time. His work on the critically acclaimed Seinfeld series gained the star huge notoriety and fame. The show’s popularity has grown throughout the years, helped by the sitcom landing on Netflix after the streamer bought the rights for $500 million. Seinfeld made a deal with the streamer to also include the American-talk show web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee on their service. As of 2015, the series has been streamed nearly 100 million times. Regarding award wins, Seinfeld has received numerous Primetime Emmy Award nominations for his work on the self-titled comedy series and on Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. In 2007, the comedian produced and co-wrote the animated film Bee Movie, which was nominated for Best Animated Film at the Golden Globe Awards. Forbes ranked Seinfeld as one of the highest-paid comedians in 2015.

Whether it’s comedy or showing off Kith’s newest fashion line, Jerry Seinfeld just oozes charisma without even trying. While the pics certainly have divided some online, there’s no debating that the comedian can soak up people’s attention. Now there’s just the question of how much Seinfeld got paid for doing this.
