See Jennifer Tilly In A Low-Cut Dress For Chucky Season 2
Jennifer Tilly is set to reprise her role as Tiffany Valentine in Chucky Season 2, and the actress showed off her own "bedroom" in a behind-the-scenes photo.
Chucky has gone through a bit of a revival, and the show based on the horror franchise, Child’s Play, has garnered a second season. Oddly enough, Chucky Season 2 is going to be airing on Peacock, which also premiered the first season. Although Chucky is based on a horror franchise, it has found a good home with NBCUniversal. Jennifer Tilly also returned in the first season of the series, after she was a key figure in the last four films that had been released. Tilly also decided to show off a behind-the-scenes image of her bedroom for Chucky Season 2, complete with a low-cut dress. You can see the image below:
The above image shows off Jennifer Tilly standing in her own “room.” Basically, Tilly appeared in Bride of Chucky as Tiffany Valentine. Tiffany had initially allowed her soul to enter the body of a doll, much like Chucky. From there, the doll would go on to be able to possess a fictionalized version of Tilly, hence her standing in her own room. There is a movie poster from Bound, a film that Tilly had starred in. Also, there are awards on the dresser that the actress has won throughout her career. While this all sounds a bit odd, it is quite a silly franchise anyway, so fans just go along with the plot that Tiffany is both a doll and Tilly.
Chucky Season 2 has come about based on the massive popularity that the first season has achieved while on Peacock. The second season has been announced before the finale of season one occurred, which NBCUniversal claimed was because the show had received huge numbers since appearing on the streaming platform. The first season currently has a 91% critic rating and 85% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes, which all but confirms that people are loving this new iteration of the classic horror franchise. Jennifer Tilly starred in Bride of Chucky, Seed of Chucky, Curse of Chucky, and Cult of Chucky. She now has reprised her role as the oddball love of Chucky.
The series is the direct follow-up to Cult of Chucky, hence why Jennifer Tilly had returned to reprise her role as Tiffany Valentine. Child’s Play was rebooted in 2019 with Mark Hamill taking over the voice duties of Chucky over long-time voice actor, Brad Dourif. The plot was also vastly different as the Chucky doll was an A.I. controlled Buddi doll and had not been possessed with the soul of a serial killer. The film was met with mediocre reviews. Though this was the initial attempt to reboot the franchise, the Chucky series has done a much better job at doing so.
The first season of Chucky can be streamed on Peacock right now. It had initially been released on Syfy and USA Network. The second season will also air on Peacock, and it is expected to premiere sometime this year. The first season had been released in October of 2021, the perfect time for Halloween, and we can bet the second season will follow suit. Chucky Season 2 will bring back Brad Dourif and the vivacious Jennifer Tilly.
