She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is premiering today on Disney+, with the Tatiana Maslany-starring series being one of the most anticipated Marvel releases in quite some time. Jameela Jamil is co-starring as Titania, a longstanding Marvel Comics villain who seems positioned as the arch-enemy of Maslany’s title character. However, it seems that Jameela Jamil is very much up for her role to be expanded to further appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

According to a recent interview with Comic Book, Jameela Jamil is eager for Titania to crossover with other MCU characters, particularly Ryan Reynold’s Deadpool. Since the acquisition of 20th Century Fox by Disney, fans have been eager to see Deadpool join the MCU and how the character’s irreverent, ultra-violent vibe fits in with the comparatively vanilla likes of the Avengers and Doctor Strange. Jameela Jamil feels that her take on Titania portrays the character as glamorous, unselfconscious, and very, very annoying. In particular, Jameela Jamila says Titania could be the most annoying supervillain ever seen in the MCU (which is definitely a unique niche to carve out for oneself) and practically does not even need to use her super strength when she can simply annoy people to death.

It actually makes sense that Jameela Jamil would particularly want to go up against Deadpool. Ryan Reynolds’ character is himself known for being incredibly irritating to other comic book characters, so we could potentially be looking at an annoyance-off for the ages. It is also notable that Jameela Jamil is debuting the character in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law; She-Hulk and Deadpool are two of Marvel Comics’ best-known characters for breaking the fourth wall and having some level of awareness of themselves as fictional people. If nothing else, it would give Jameela Jamil a leg-up to go from one self-aware comic book character to another.

We will have to wait to see exactly how Titania will be portrayed by Jameela Jamil in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, aside from apparently very, very annoying. The comic book character Titania refers generally to two different people, but the most famous was created by Jim Shooter to feature in the influential Secret Wars crossover event. That version of Titania (born Mary MacPherran) was a human woman who was relentlessly bullied by others throughout her life and eventually empowered with super strength and a newly enhanced body by Doctor Doom in exchange for her servitude.

It is entirely possible that Jameela Jamil could show up as Titania in the upcoming Deadpool 3, which has been announced to be the first R-rated movie in the MCU. She also could appear in the Thunderbolts film, of which few details are available. In Marvel Comics, the Thunderbolts are mostly portrayed as a group of supervillains who disguise themselves as heroes; Titania has been associated with the group off and on, so that is definitely a possibility. It is also worth noting that Jameela Jamil quickly went to social media to explain that she has no official news of her character reappearing, so we will just have to wonder about Titania vs Deadpool for now.
