Gal Gadot is undoubtedly an Instagram star when she’s not lighting up the big screen. Gadot recently took to the platform to post a series of pics where she’s in a comfy, laidback look. Gadot cheekily posts the caption ‘”Go green” while taking her own advice by wearing a chunky green sweater and green striped shorts.

It’s been great to see Gal Gadot on Instagram because fans really haven’t seen a lot of her on the silver screen in 2022. The actress only appeared in the mystery film Death on the Nile which featured Kenneth Branagh as the Agatha Christie character Hercule Peroit solving a murder on a Nile River cruise. We’ll have to wait until sometime in 2023 to see Gadot in another role when she appears in the Netflix film Heart of Stone.

Heart of Stone will feature Gal Gadot as a CIA agent in a spy thriller directed by Tom Harper with a screenplay by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder. The film also stars Jamie Dornan, Sophie Okonedo, Jing Lusi, Matthias Schweighöfer and Alia Bhatt. Heart of Stone will also expand Gadot’s producer resume as it will be the second feature film she has produced after Wonder Woman 1984.

Count on seeing Gal Gadot listed as a producer on quite a few more future projects, as she formed the production company Pilot Wave with her husband Jaron “Yaron” Varsano in 2019. Along with future film projects, Gadot will be producing a currently untitled Apple TV+ miniseries about the late actress and inventor Hedy Lamarr. Gadot will also be starring in this film.

Along with the united Hedy Lamarr project, Gadot will be producing and starring in a historical thriller about the Polish nurse, humanitarian, and activist Irena Sendler. Gadot will then go even further into the past to play the Egyptian queen Cleopatra. Unfortunately, these projects are all in the pre-production stages so there’s no word yet on when we’ll actually get to see them.

Of course, one of the most anticipated projects that Gal Gadot will be starring in (and also producing) is Wonder Woman 3, which will once again reunite Gadot with director and writer Patty Jenkins. At this point, the plot details of Wonder Woman 3 are being kept tightly under wraps but it has been confirmed that the story will take place in the modern day. With a ton of things moving around over at DC Films, including Cavill returning as Superman and James Gunn taking the reins, it’ll be interesting to see how this movie plays out.

Again, there isn’t any release date for Wonder Woman 3 at this time, but we do know that we’ll be seeing Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen in Disney’s live-action remake of Snow White on March 22, 2024. Disney’s remakes of their animated films have been pretty hit-or-miss, but Gadot as the vain queen and Rachel Zegler as Snow White definitely seems like a winning combination. Until we can see Gadot’s next project, we’ll just have to keep tuning in to her Instagram to see what the actress is up to these days.
