The Flash has managed to encompass an incredible amount of characters from the comic book canon over its seven seasons. And with an eighth season already ordered, there are even more plans to bring in heroes and villains that fans will recognize. And unlike some other superheroes, there has been an incredible number of people who have worn the mantle of The Flash or have become speedster superheroes in their own right. And we at Giant Freakin Robot have obtained exclusive information about the next super speedster who will be making their way to the show.

According to our trusted inside source – the same one that has provided Giant Freakin Robot with multiple confirmed exclusive scoops that have included Bruce Campbell appearing for a cameo in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Monica Rambeau being a main character in the upcoming Disney+ series Secret Invasion, and Chloe Bennet returning as Quake for a new Marvel series – The Flash will be bringing in the newest version of Kid Quick a.k.a. Jess Chambers to the Arrowverse. Chambers made their introduction in the new Future State event that is happening in DC Comics. This has introduced an alternate universe with many different versions of the classic DC superheroes.

Exactly how Jess Chambers will factor into the storyline for The Flash is unclear at this time, but it could be a way for the Arrowverse to bring in the entire Future State universe. Doing so would give them access to a ton of different iterations of DC characters. And the show has become infamous for playing with tons of different alternate Earths and alternate dimension takes on characters. It is also unclear if Kid Quick would become a regular character on the series or will only be around for a specific arc.

Our source could not confirm exactly when they would be bringing Jess Chambers into The Flash but we assume that this discussion is in relation to the announced Season 8. Plus, it makes sense for the show to capitalize on how new Kid Quick is to the DC universe. It is unclear just what the comics are planning to do with Jess Chambers in the long run, but it certainly seems like they want to utilize the character quite a bit over the next year or so. And the fact that Kid Quick is non-binary will likely help to grab some headlines when they show up on the television series.

It is undeniably impressive that The Flash has been running on television for this long, and that it has continued to bring in so many varied characters over the years. Bringing in Jess Chambers a.k.a. Kid Quick would add another notable superhero to the ensemble and give the show yet another speedster character to play with. At this rate, the show can continue to exist for many more years as it brings in more and more characters from the practically limitless DC universe. And will they crossover with the film universe once again? The possibilities are endless.
