Ethan Hawke is one of the more accomplished actors we have around in Hollywood. He’s knocked nearly every role out of the park whether it’s a romance, action, or biopic film. When he’s on-screen, you can be almost assured it’s going to be something good. But for all his range, we haven’t seen him lean all that much into the bad-guy role. That’s set to change though and fans are starting to imagine him in even more evil roles. Check out what Ethan Hawke would look like as Dracula:

For starters, seeing Ethan Hawke with the ashy-skin, red eyes, slicked-back hair, and a little blood dripping down the mouth looks like it would play really well on screen. Though he isn’t known for this kind of role, it’s clear from this fan art that Hawke wouldn’t have any issue getting into the cape and taking a little vampire turn if he needed to. And frankly, after seeing this picture, I’m actually kind of shocked we haven’t seen more examples of Hawke taking an evil turn.

Getting a glimpse of Ethan Hawke as Dracula is coming on the heels of the recent news that he’d been casting in the upcoming Disney+ series Moon Knight. The show will star Oscar Isaac in the titular role as Marc Spector/ Moon Knight who has resurrected from the dead and given superpowers by an Egyptian goddess. Hawke’s role isn’t confirmed beyond that he will play the main villain/ antagonist in the show. Many had speculated that the role would be Raoul Bushman who was Moon Knight’s chief rival at the beginning of the comic books. But without firm news, there are always ways to dream about that.

The other piece of rumor mill info that’s come across lately is that the Dracula character will be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe in some fashion. Whether it’s in the movies or in a television series isn’t totally clear. But the back-to-back news of Ethan Hawke in Moon Knight and the iconic and nefarious vampire joining things means fans have taken to speculating on what might happen with this latest show.

Ethan Hawke is coming fresh off an awesome turn on the Showtime biopic The Good Lord Bird in which he played abolitionist, John Brown. He’s earned enormous critical acclaim for the role and the show is sitting at 98% on the Tomatometer. It could be headed for an awards season run.

Before he joins the Marvel world on Moon Knight, Ethan Hawke is set to star in The Northman alongside Alexander Skarsgard and Nicole Kidman. The Viking movie will center on Skarsgard’s character trying to avenge the death of his father, the head of the clan. Hawke plays the King in the flick.

Ethan Hawke is also in the upcoming The Guilty with Jake Gyllenhaal and Bill Burr, a crooked cop movie directed by Antoine Fuqua. That movie will hit Netflix sometime this year. The actor has quite the full plate and it’s awesome to think about him in a villain role, especially as a blood-drinking vampire.
