Netflix Reveals First Look At Enola Holmes 2 With Millie Bobby Brown And Henry Cavill
Enola Holmes 2 is going to premiere sometime this year, and Netflix has teased the new sequel with an image that shows Henry Cavill and Millie Bobby Brown.
Netflix is currently putting together Enola Holmes 2, which features superstars Henry Cavill and Millie Bobby Brown. They reunited along with Helene Bonham Carter in the follow-up to Enola Holmes, which was released in 2020. Fans have been clamoring for the pair to return to these roles, and now we have the first look at the upcoming sequel. The first-look image follows the small bit of the film that was shown back in February. The image that has been shared gives off a mysterious vibe that is mixed with a “Where’s Waldo” component. The bustling street of people is likely meant to showcase how both Sherlock Holmes and Enola Holmes can blend into any crowd. However, for those who are fans, you will easily spot Henry Cavill and a grinning Millie Bobby Brown after scanning the image for a few seconds. While we have not been given the first trailer for Enola Holmes 2, it was teased back in February during the Netflix 2022 movie preview trailer. Enola is shown chasing her brother down a busy street. However, the above image gives us a bit more about the pair’s personalities, as Enola seems to be far less droll and a bit more quick-witted.
Millie Bobby Brown is coming off starring in Stranger Things Season 4, which broke most viewership records on Netflix, except for catching the #1 most viewed show. Squid Game still leads the way with 300,000 more viewership hours. That is cutting it quite close. Henry Cavill is also a star of the streaming platform, as he is currently working on the new season of The Witcher. With both being huge stars currently, it is great to see them reunite for Enola Holmes 2. The film looks to be just as charming as the first one was.
Enola Holmes 2 is once again being directed by Henry Bradbeer. Joining Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill is Helena Bonham Carter, David Thewlis, Hannah Dodd, Adeel Akhtar, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, and many more. The film will follow Enola Holmes as she takes on her first case as a detective. Enola must do what she can to locate a missing girl. However, she realizes that she may be in way over her head, which results in her asking for help from her famous brother. Her friends also come along to ensure that Enola does not get herself into more trouble than she can handle.
Enola Holmes 2 does not have a release date just yet, but it is expected to release sometime in 2022. We would presume that means the film might be headed for a holiday release schedule. This is just speculation while we all wait for a trailer, but the summer months are close to ending and we have not been given the release date. That might mean the trailer will come out possibly next month with a release date of sometime in November or December. Either way, we are excited to see this sequel.
