Daniel Radcliffe will always be associated with British teen wizard turned magical cop Harry Potter, but it looks like he has found his next iconic role: Alfred Matthew Yankovic, better known as “Weird Al” Yankovic. Daniel Radcliffe will be portraying the musician in a Roku film titled Weird: The Al Yankovic Story and a new poster shows the actor in full regalia as the accordion-wielding comedy legend. See for yourself:

This very dramatic poser shows Daniel Radcliffe as many will remember Weird Al Yankovic in the 1980s and 1990s. Daniel Radcliffe appears to be in a massive stadium of adoring fans, stepping on the upraised feet of the crowd and singing to the heavens. He is wearing tight red pants and Yankovic’s trademark Hawaiin print shirt. Daniel Radcliffe also appears to be a thickly curled wig to imitate Yankovic’s most mop of hair; he also is wearing thick-framed glasses and a mustache, both of which the musician himself no longer wears. There are spotlights trained on the actor, and the title of the movie is printed in sparkling sequins, much as you might expect from a movie about Elvis or Liberace. Above Daniel Radcliffe is the movie’s tagline: “The World Belongs to the Weird.”

Weird: The Al Yankovic Story is clearly a satirical story. Although Yankovic has been an immensely popular entertainer for decades now, the movie is presenting Daniel Radcliffe as a debauched, fame-addled version of him. In that, it appears to be similar to the 2007 cult comedy film Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, which portrayed John C. Reilly as a legendary singer modeled after Johnny Cash and basically every rock star ever. In real life, Yankovic is known for avoiding profanity in his lyrics and is a non-drinker, non-smoker, and vegetarian. Presumably, part of the humor of the film will be seeing Daniel Radcliffe as a crazed, drug-fueled madman who is still responsible for parody hits like “White & Nerdy” and “Eat It.”

Along with Daniel Radcliffe, Weird: The Al Yankovic will star Evan Rachel Wood as pop star Madonna, Rainn Wilson as influential comedy DJ Dr. Demento, and Quinta Brunson as Oprah Winfrey. The movie originated as a parody trailer released on the Funny or Die website, which starred Aaron Paul as Yankovic. In an interesting turn, a real film based on the fake trailer was later announced. The original director of the trailer, Eric Appel, returned to direct the feature film and co-wrote the screenplay along with Yankovic himself.

Since leaving the Harry Potter franchise, Daniel Radcliffe has selected an interesting number of projects to be involved in. It seems Radcliffe has an affinity for horror films, starring in the 2012 adaptation of The Woman in Black and in the Joe Hill adaptation Horns. He also has gotten involved in comedy, recently starring as the villain of the Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum movie The Lost City and in three seasons of the TBS sitcom Miracle Workers along with Steve Buscemi and Geraldine Viswanathan.
