With so many comic book characters hitting the big and small screen, it can be tough to keep track of them all. It used to be that we could just worry about the big, name-brand characters in some form or fashion and maybe get a villain in there as well. Easy peasy. But now, with the Multiverse really anything is on the table and it’s meant not only keeping track of all the heroes but also all the different versions of all the heroes. Look no further than Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and the upcoming sequel Across the Spider-Verse to know what I mean. It’s a whole world just of web-slingers. And it looks like one of the new ones is going to be pretty darn cool. We are getting a version of Spider-Woman and it isn’t going to be much we’ve seen on the screen for this character. That’s because they are going full cyborg with this one.

Coming via The Direct, we are getting the first look at Cyborg Spider-Woman thanks to some merchandise shots that popped up on Twitter from @preternia. The new figure is in the branding packaging and sure looks a lot different than what we’ve come to expect from this character. But heck, that’s kind of the point with this upcoming movie. It is shaping up to be a frenetic turn through the Multiverse and this is just one version of the character Miles Morales is set to encounter. Check out the first figurine images for Cyborg Spider-Woman to see what we are dealing with here.

Crazy. This is a play on the Cyborg Spider-Man character and has a number of the same features. There’s a cyborg arm that is a massive machine gun cannon instead of the wallcrawler’s typical, well, hand. And the character is considerably bulkier than what we are used to. Cyborg Spider-Woman comes with huge red boots, a spiked shoulder, and if anything looks more like Thanos or Bane than really any other version of Peter Parker we’ve seen on the big screen. In the comics, Cyborg Spider-Man had a make-shift arm, but that was the major change. Cyborg Spider-Woman is something completely different.

As The Direct reminds everyone, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is going to have a massive number of characters featured throughout the story. Phil Lord and Chris Miller have let on there could be 240 total across six universes. Confirmed castings and characters already include Shameik Moore returning as Miles Morales, Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy, and Jake Johnson as Peter B. Parker from the first movie. And now we are going to get Oscar Isaac as Spider-Man 2099, Issa Rae as Spider-Woman and there will also be an appearance by Spider-Punk as well as many more.

We are sure to get more updates for this movie over the next few months. And will finally get to see all the versions of Spider-Man and Spider-Woman when the movie releases on June 2, 2023. All of the Spider-people will be on display in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
