Chris Pratt was hosting a charity live stream for Feed Thy Neighbor recently and was speaking with his Marvel co-star, Spider-Man’s Tom Holland when these words slipped out: “I’ve got Thor. I’m gonna go be in Thor in Australia.” It took a few seconds of further conversation but then Holland’s reaction was simply classic.

Holland: “Wait a minute. Did you just say you’re gonna be in Thor?”

Pratt: “Yeah. (the pause here says it all)”

Holland: “That’s so crazy.”

Pratt: “Am I not supposed to say that?”

Holland: “I feel like no one knew that, bro.”

Pratt: “No, they knew that. They knew that. I think they knew that. No, they knew that. If they didn’t, they know now, shit.”

You can see their entire exchange between Chris Pratt and Tom Holland below. Fast forward to around the 1 hour 45-minute mark of the video to see the horror on Holland’s face. Trust us, it’s worth it.

It truly is a classic back-and-forth between the two actors and while Holland felt no one knew of Chris Pratt’s involvement in the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder, there already had been rampant speculation of Pratt’s involvement.

The new Thor sequel is being helmed by Taika Waititi, who also directed Thor: Ragnarok and will see Chris Hemsworth return as the God of Thunder. Natalie Portman will be returning to her role as Jane Foster as she will be transforming into the new Mighty Thor. Tessa Thompson will also be back as Valkyrie stepping in to rule New Asgard as their King. Along with the returning cast of Thor characters, Waititi has also brought in a great addition. Christian Bale is now on board as the big bad villain of the movie, Gorr the God Butcher. Also Chris Pratt is in it, apparently.

So, what role will Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord play in all this? There has been more speculation that other Guardians will follow suit, which would make sense as Thor joined the Guardian’s team at the end of Avengers: Endgame. So, don’t be surprised if we not only see Pratt but also Karen Gillan and Dave Bautista show up at some point in Love and Thunder.

With Chris Pratt’s involvement in mind, Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel voicing their roles as Rocket and Groot wouldn’t be out of the question either. The only one who would truly be a surprise would be Zoe Saldana’s return as Gamora. Chances are slim that she returns, Marvel is more than likely leaving that to take place in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

Chris Pratt’s slippage isn’t the only time Marvel actors have let things fall out of their collective mouths. Holland himself is notorious for letting Marvel’s secrets be known, Chris Pratt style. His first was when he was asked if training for Billy Elliot helped him prepare for his role as Spider-Man. At the time he had just made his first appearance in Captain America: Civil War but his new movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming had yet to premiere. He started to answer, saying he’d love to do as many of his own stunts as possible. That is where he should have stopped, but he didn’t. “There’s was a few things that I couldn’t do,” he said via Looper. “There was, like, some time where they dangled my poor stunt double under a helicopter and dunked him in a lake.” Holland immediately put his hand to his mouth. “This is live, isn’t it?” He just dropped information he shouldn’t have. “I’m gonna get in so much trouble now. Oh no!”

Perhaps Tom Holland’s history of spoiling things is the reason Chris Pratt chose him to drop the Thor: Love And Thunder bomb. Tom can no longer be trusted with Marvel secrets and now it seems like Pratt may not be able to be trusted anymore either.
