It stands to reason that any show involving his physical prowess would not be out of the realm of possibility. Now, Hemsworth is teaming up with Disney+ to release a show about testing the limits of the body. As part of the Disney Plus Day announcement rollout, this new series entitled, Limitless with Chris Hemsworth, was given a very exciting trailer.
Chris Hemsworth is shown on what looks to be like a climbing rope. This rope is attached to some sort of high-flying trolley. The camera pans out as Hemsworth begins to climb, and showcases a very death-defying activity. This show is the makings of a daredevil vibe with just a hint of instruction thrown in there as well. The rest of the trailer shows interviews with experts and Chris Hemsworth engaged in all kinds of extraneous activity. National Geographic is the network partnering with Disney+ on releasing this show that looks to be as exciting as the trailer. National Geographic is never one to make shows on accident, so this one is set to be just as educational as it is exciting. The idea seemingly is behind the limits of what the human body can achieve. If there were anyone that could test the limits of the body, it’s definitely Hemsworth. The man has been a figure in the fitness world for years.
Chris Hemsworth uses the word “longevity” regarding him getting older. Everyone deals with getting older. This series seems to want to tackle the ideas behind dealing with the limits of the human body as we age. Hemsworth also mentions not feeling “invincible.” That is a very human reaction considering that he has played a superhero for many years in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. If Hemsworth can feel every bit as fragile as the rest of the given world, then there should be a ton of emotions tied to this series.
Chris Hemsworth has a very chiseled frame, and this trailer shows a more vulnerable man attempting to come to terms with his place in the world. From different cultures to high-flying stunts, this show is sure to have tons of fireworks. Although the series seems to test the limits of the human body, it also seems to want to bring forth the notion that the mind is just as important as the physical frame.
Limitless with Chris Hemsworth is a six-part mini-series that is set to air in 2022. The show will be released on Disney+. Based on how they’ve dealt with other series, it stands to reason this new show will come out in a weekly fashion. Academy Award-nominated director, Darren Aronofsky, is directing this part-travel and part-athleticism-based show. Aronofsky has famously directed Requiem for a Dream and Mother! Now he’ll take his talents to work with Chris Hemsworth on a different kind of thriller, this one testing the human body.
