Brie Larson isn’t done joining the biggest movie franchises in the world. She, of course, garnered plenty of fame from becoming Captain Marvel in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now the actress has her eyes set on a franchise that many people might not have guessed that she would be aching to join. Larson recently spoke to Uproxx about her obsession and deep want in joining the Fast & Furious franchise. With the alleged final movie approaching, maybe she can be a new member of the family.

The Fast & Furious franchise has been one of the most talked-about in recent years, whether or not that’s a good or bad thing is up for debate. However, Brie Larson desperately wants her chance to appear in the films. When Larson was asked if she would join the franchise she said, “One hundred percent. One hundred percent,” she also added, “Please, please tell everybody I would of course want to be in a Fast & Furious movie. I’m obsessed. I love them. I think they’re so good. They’re so fun. And they’ve made me appreciate cars. And it’s something that should be appreciated. They’re incredible. So of course, please.” Get the word out people, Captain Marvel wants to go fast.

Transitioning from playing a superhero into a series that concerns itself with defying the laws of physics should be an easy jump for Brie Larson. Even though the Fast & Furious films have gone through drama between leading man Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson, Larson could be the piece or peace that elevates the franchise to new heights. Maybe she could even convince Johnson to return, although that is not likely to happen. So far, the Fast & Furious franchise has spawned nine films, along with a spin-off film called Hobbs and Shaw. The final “tenth” film of the now dubbed saga, will be split into two parts.

Brie Larson presumably has plenty of time to join either of the final two parts of this franchise, or she might think about joining the alleged Hobbs & Shaw sequel or the rumored female-led spin-off film. Either way, the Fast & Furious world has grown exponentially since its first iteration in 2001. Maybe Larson’s character could have something to do with the late Paul Walker. Brian O’Conner’s cousin perhaps? Long lost sister? I want royalty rights if any of these choices are picked.

Even though the Fast & Furious movies aren’t exactly the highest critically acclaimed successes, they are big-time cash cows. In total, all ten films have grossed over $6.6 billion worldwide. With the Furious 7, The Fate of the Furious both pulling in well over $1 billion each. F9 dropped a bit in numbers, but still managed to rake in over $700 million worldwide. Brie Larson said it best, these movies are clearly fun, and it sure seems as if the audiences know this too. People flock to see these movies and it’s a big reason why this franchise just keeps going.

Having Brie Larson join such a storied franchise might not be a bad idea, especially considering how popular she has become due to her time in the MCU. Captain Marvel brought in well over $1.128 billion itself. Vin Diesel should be on the phone immediately to attempt to allow Larson’s dreams to come true. She would definitely look good in a sports car, much like the one Toretto was afraid of in the first film. Make this happen.
