See Battlestar Galactica’s Tricia Helfer Posing Topless To Promote An Upcoming Nude Scene
Tricia Helfer revealed a throwback picture of herself clad only in pants.
Tricia Janine Helfer, known for playing Cylon model Number Six in Battlestar Galactica, recently posted a throwback photo from her days as a model. Hinting at an upcoming nude scene in her newest project, the actress shared an image from her 1997 Kejzar Jeans campaign. “Had a similar look to this yesterday on set – except minus the pants,” she wrote in the Instagram caption.
Tricia Helfer maintains her model figure by working out regularly. But the actress doesn’t do any heavy lifting at the gym. Instead, she opts for hiking. “I’m a heavy-duty hiker with some calisthenics as well since you have to tone up, too,” she told Self Magazine in 2014 (via Celeb Well). The actress also enjoys healthy snacks as opposed to junk food.
She detailed her favorites which include sliced apples with almond butter. “Either that or I will sometimes crave tuna salad,” Tricia Helfer told the publication. The 49-year-old explained her meal prep, saying she serves it up with a little bit of mayonnaise, dill pickles, and pepperoncini. The meal is paired with hummus and gluten-free crackers. “I love a good roasted garlic hummus,” she added.
Tricia Helfer began her career as a model after being discovered at a movie theater at age 17. She went on to win the Ford Models’ Supermodel of the World contest in 1992 and retired from the catwalk a decade later. The 49-year-old has since appeared in several advertising campaigns for Versace, Chanel, Ralph Lauren, and Giorgio Armani.
However, she insists that they are all related projects or product endorsements. Tricia Helfer has graced the covers of Flare, Amica, ELLE, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, and Vogue. She also regularly appeared in photo shoots for Maxim magazine. In 2007, she was ranked #57 on the publications list of Hot 100 Women. She also served as the cover model for Playboy that same year.
Tricia Helfer’s first acting job was a minor role as Sarah on the popular television series Jeremiah. She went on to play a model named Ashleigh James on an episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, which aired in May 2002. The former model has also appeared in Suits, Ascension, and the comedy Two and a Half Men. Her big acting break came when she landed the role of Charlotte Richards on Netflix’s Lucifer.
Tricia Helfer’s most recent acting credit was a role in the drama series Step Up. Based on the film series of the same name, the show premiered on YouTube Red in 2018.
