Tricia Helfer is steaming things up again, this time in a sultry shower shot that sees the Battlestar Galactica alum showing off her body in the name of philanthropy. Taking to Instagram in a post that you can see below, Helfer is putting the good work of a collaboration between men’s skincare company Atwater and motorcycle builders Ducati on display as she promotes sales for the duo’s Clean Impact AXD1 Body Scrub & Cleansing Bar. Proceeds for the soap will go towards a campaign by RxArt, a group that helps children heal through the pathway of visual art.
Striking a pose, the image sees Tricia Helfer getting a refreshing restart in the shower. Holding up the bar of soap, Helfer smiles at the camera and shows off the charitable product, giving viewers a look at all the scrubbing benefits they could find in their very own hands. Along with promoting the bar in her caption, Helfer also confirms that the outline of her phone can be seen in this shot as she says, you “gotta do what ya can when you live alone.”
This isn’t Tricia Helfer’s first rodeo with baring it all for charitable events as she and her fellow Battlestar Galactica co-star Katee Sackhoff have previously teamed up to form the charity Acting Outlaws. The duo has stripped down to their skivvies for the motorcycle-riding organization that backs projects that raise money for a slew of causes including the Red Cross, the Gulf Restoration Network, and the Humane Society. Through their efforts, Acting Outlaw has been successful time and time again at putting funds into the bank accounts of foundations in need around the globe.
Outside of her time in the charitable network, Tricia Helfer is perhaps best known for her role as Cylon model Number Six in the legendary sci-fi series, Battlestar Galactica. Reimagined from the 1978 series of the same name, the production first landed a miniseries in 2003 before receiving a full-blown order which would lead to a total of four seasons. Along with Sackhoff, who’s now blasting off to new galaxies in The Mandalorian, Helfer was joined in the fan-favorite show by Edward James Olmos (Miami Vice), Mary McDonnell (Dances with Wolves), Jamie Bamber (Law & Order: UK), James Callis (Bridget Jones’s Diary), and Grace Park (Edgemont).
Since appearing as one of the main antagonists in the spacey series, Tricia Helfer has reprised her role as Number Six in several Battlestar Galactica spinoff projects and has raked in a number of one-off performances on celebrated titles including Community and Rick and Morty. The actress has also wrangled major supporting roles on shows such as Dark Blue, The Firm, Killer Women, and Powers along with holding down recurring appearances on Lucifer and Van Helsing. On the big screen, she’s also appeared in many noteworthy titles including Bombshell and Save Ralph.
