Rising star Sydney Sweeney is taking a page from the books of her experienced colleagues and launching her very own fashion line. Just as Elizabeth Hurley and Sofia Vergara have done, the Euphoria star is ready to debut her collaboration with Frankies Bikinis. In celebration, she took to Instagram and gave her 14.5 million followers a sneak peek at some of the pieces that will be available for sale.

Modeling the swimwear herself, Sweeney shows off three pieces: a simple solid brown two-piece with floral prints, a wedding dress-themed white two-piece with ruffles, and the third is a white and pink cutout with a lipstick print. Each looks like a great addition to Frankies Bikinis’ existing line of high-end fashion swimwear, which owes a lot of its recent success to the star’s award-winning performance on HBO’s teen drama.

Season 2, Episode 4 of Euphoria, saw Sweeney’s character Cassie put on a pink cut-out swimsuit to get the attention of Nate (Jacob Elordi). Not only did she get the attention of everyone in the house, but that swimsuit, the “Gemma,” has been on backorder for over a year due to demand following the episode’s airing. It’s not the first time that a television show has caused a real-life product to surge in popularity, and it won’t be the last, but it did land Sydney Sweeney an opportunity to work with the swimwear company.

Unfortunately for show fans, Euphoria’s third season has yet to start filming and likely won’t until halfway through the year. Zendaya was busy filming Dune: Part II until the end of 2022, pushing the production back and ensuring the next season won’t air until 2024. The entire cast reads like a who’s who of young Hollywood, including Maude Apatow, Angus Cloud, Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, and Barbie Ferreira.

In the meantime, Sydney Sweeney has been filming Madame Web, another Sony Spider-Man universe movie that somehow doesn’t include Spider-Man. Her character hasn’t been revealed, but it’s heavily rumored to be the first live-action Ghost-Spider aka Spider-Gwen. The role was popularized in the animated film, Into the Spider-Verse, voiced by Hailee Steinfeld after the character was one of Marvel Comics’ breakout hits of the 2010s.

Madame Web is currently shrouded in mystery, but we know it will star Dakota Johnson, Adam Scott, Emma Roberts, Mike Epps, Celeste O’Conner, and Isabela Mercad. The last two will likely be Mattie Franklin, the third Spider-Woman in the comics, and Anya Corazon, Spider-Girl. With a release date set for 2024, we’re about a year away from Sydney Sweeney breaking out into the mainstream following the film’s success.

Before her superhero debut, Sweeney will star later this year in the crime-thriller Americana alongside her Euphoria co-star Eric Dane and pop star Halsey. The film is about a Lakota Ghost Shirt, a rare artifact that winds up on the black market in a small town, triggering conflict among the locals. Americana will be out on March 17, finally bringing the White Lotus star back into the spotlight.
