Actress Sofia Vergara spent some time in New York not too long ago. Vergara showed off party spirit and legs in a few throwback images on Instagram. She once again demonstrated why she’s one of the most gorgeous actresses in the world today.
Sofia Vergara rose to prominence during the late 1990s when she co-hosted two television shows for the Spanish-language television network Univision. The 50-year-old received her first notable acting gig in English with the 2003 American comedy Chasing Papi. The film is centered on three women who find out they have all been dating the same guy and are on an adventure to Los Angeles.
One of Sofia Vergara’s most recent gigs was being one of the judges of America’s Got Talent. The actress began her stint on the show during its fifteenth season and has remained on it since. Before she arrived on the show, Vergara reached a settlement with beauty company Venus Concept about what she claimed was improper use of her likeness. She claimed the beauty company created the false impression that she endorsed its products.
Perhaps Sofia Vergara’s most notable English role is Gloria Delgado-Pritchett in the hit family sitcom Modern Family. The series follows the lives of three diverse families in suburban Los Angeles. Many critics praised the show throughout its first season but began to have mixed feelings as the show progressed.
Despite some of the show’s mixed critical response in later seasons, Modern Family became an awards darling during its run on television.
