Sharon Stone has a new memoir out and it has provided the world with a ton of scandalous, sordid, and often sobering stories. From the realization that the most famous scene in Basic Instinct happened without her knowledge to the revelation that she was pressured to sleep with her co-star in order to increase their on-screen chemistry, the actress has been dishing out the tales left and right and they continue to be more shocking than the last. And it looks like today brings yet another horrifying story from her career.

In the newest allegation from the book, The Beauty of Living Twice, Sharon Stone claims that her breasts were augmented without her given consent. Stone says that she went into reconstructive breast surgery back in 2001 after she had benign tumors removed. When she awoke from surgery, she found that her breasts had been made larger without any input from her. According to Stone, the doctor in charge of the operation believed that the actress “would look better with bigger, ‘better’ boobs”.

Sharon Stone reacted to this in her memoir. “He had changed my body without my knowledge or consent,” the actress proclaimed. It is just another instance in the actress’s life that showcases how she was taken advantage of. It certainly seems like she has experienced a harrowing life for such a popular star. It is unclear if she sought any ramifications from the doctor in question. And it is certain there will be even more revelations as the memoir continues to make the rounds.

Sharon Stone has certainly had a storied and varied career. From her work on Paul Verhoeven movies like Total Recall and Basic Instinct to projects with luminary directors like Martin Scorsese and Sam Raimi, she has cemented her legacy as one of the strongest leading ladies of her generation. We even will go to bat for movies like Sphere or the truly wacky Catwoman, she is always committed to her role and delivers a performance you will remember. It is certainly depressing to learn just how much of her life was manipulated during the time she has worked in these movies.

However, Sharon Stone also has openly defended Woody Allen, a director that she has worked with multiple times. Allen has been the subject of extremely disturbing allegations but Stone has come to his defense in this new memoir. Could her position regarding Allen cause some people to give her own allegations a second thought? Or will people be able to differentiate the two issues and not judge Stone for her position when it comes to the controversial director?

Our hope is that by putting out this memoir, Sharon Stone will be able to confront many of the issues she alleges have happened to her throughout her life. Clearly, she has been subjected to an incredible amount of instances where she feels she was abused. If getting these allegations out on paper and into the world has helped her reach some semblance of closure, then we wish her nothing but the best.
