Margot Robbie is taking her superhero acting persona to new heights, as the star posted a collection of pictures of her outfit for the London premiere of Amsterdam. During the red carpet walk, the actress was spotted in a flowing black gown that featured a cut-out shirt and cape. We understand that the cape was meant to look more stylish than to symbolize that of a superhero, but we could somewhat see what Robbie would look like as a supervillain in this outfit.
Amsterdam is the newest Margot Robbie feature, which sees the actress team up with a massive ensemble cast that includes Christian Bale, John David Washington, Chris Rock, Rami Malek, Anya Taylor-Joy, Michael Shannon, Mike Myers, Timothy Olyphant, and Taylor Swift. The film is written and directed by David O. Russell, whose work includes American Hustle, Silver Linings Playbook, and The Fighter. The film is set to debut on October 7th, 2022 but has already been working its way through international premieres.
Margot Robbie takes on one of the lead roles as Valerie Voze, a nurse from the war that befriends Burt Berendsen (Bale) and Harold Woodman (Washington), as the three find themselves in Amsterdam, and wrapped up as the lead suspects in a murder that they allegedly did not commit. The film looks hilarious from the trailers, and we can’t wait to see what Russell has cooked up for this new film.
