See Brie Larson In Tight Jeans And Leather Jacket Ready For A Joy Ride
Brie Larson switches from a sexy evening gown to tight jeans and leather in this new Instagram post from the star of the upcoming Fast X and The Marvels.
Brie Larson can look cool doing just about anything, but she looks especially cool when she’s donning a leather jacket. In a recent Instagram post, Larson did a fun transition where she went from a street-ready Nissan to a more backroad-ready one. She also switches from a flowy blue dress to a badass black get-up.
Brie Larson will need all the driving practice she can get, considering she’s about to show up in the next entry to The Fast & the Furious franchise. Larson is one of the newcomers to the car-heavy franchise along with Jason Momoa, who is set to play the villain. Daniela Melchior and Alan Ritchson are also newcomers, though we don’t know who they’ll be playing yet.
We do know that Rita Moreno is coming on board as Dom, Jakob, and Mia’s grandmother. Meanwhile, Leo Abelo Perry will be appearing as Dom and Elena’s son, Brian Marcos. As for Brie Larson, she’ll be playing a character named Tess who is on the side of the good guys.
Comicbookmovie.com recently reported on some plot details for Fast X, and it looks like Jason Momoa’s character is being recruited by Charlize Theron’s Cipher to face off against Dom and the crew. It sounds like they will need help from Brie Larson’s Tess. Along with the newcomers, returning cast members include Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, John Cena, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Scott Eastwood, Michael Rooker, Cardi B, and Helen Mirren.
Fast X ran into some trouble when director and screenwriter Justin Lin dropped out a week into filming. Fortunately, they were able to quickly find a replacement (while bleeding a bunch of money in the interim) with director Louis Leterrier. So, it looks like we’ll be on track to see Brie Larson in Fast X when it hits theaters on May 19.
Fast X is set to be the first movie in a two-part end to the long-running franchise. This means we might be seeing Brie Larson in another Fast movie if her character makes it through. Otherwise, we can look forward to seeing Larson reprise one of her most famous roles as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel in The Marvels this summer.
Along with Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel, The Marvels will co-star Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau. Samuel L. Jackson will return as Nick Fury and Park Seo-joon and Zawe Ashton will be appearing in undisclosed roles. Larson’s Captain Marvel is undoubtedly one of the most powerful characters in the MCU, so it’ll be interesting to find out where her character ends up at the end of this film.
While there hasn’t been any official confirmation, it seems incredibly likely we can expect to see Brie Larson appear in at least one of the upcoming Avengers films. Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are short a few members after Avengers: Endgame, so they’ll need all the help they can get to take on Kang. In the meantime, we can look forward to seeing The Marvels in theaters on July 28.
