While we love going to our favorite fast food restaurants and chains, sometimes the same-old, same-old can be a bit boring when it comes to the menus. But no fear there. The biggest chains often have secret menu options available to order if you just know the right thing to say.

Let’s take a look at some of the more popular secret menu options from the biggest fast-food chains.

KFC: Triple Down

Love sandwiches but hate bread? Then KFC has the perfect solution with their Triple Down option. Replace those pesky slices of bread or buns with two chicken fillets instead.

Plus add bacon, cheese, and sauce in between and you have a huge KFC “sandwich” with layers and layers of what they do best.

In-N-Out Burger: Animal Style Fries

In-N-Out Burger has an Animal Style menu as part of their secret offerings and the fries stack up with the best the chain has to offer. They are crispy fries topped with cheese, Thousand Island dressing, and caramelized grilled onions. You’ll wonder why they don’t just put this up on the big board as a core part of the menu.

McDonald’s: McGangBang

It’s a hilarious name that some might have trouble uttering when they actually get to the counter. But it could be worth it based on what you are getting. This thing is a combination McChicken sandwich and McDouble burger that are stacked on top of each other. That means chicken, beef, cheese, lettuce, and sauce all piled together.

Shake Shack: The Shack-cago Dog

A play on words that combines the name of the restaurant with the classic Chicago hot dog, this Shake Shack secret menu item is worth a try. You get the standard hot dog, but then on top is mustard, relish, diced tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, pickles, and chopped onion. That’s basically a deluxe offering when it’s all said and done.

Five Guys: Grilled Cheese Burger

As if Five Guys burgers weren’t good enough already, now you have the chance to step it up a notch with this secret menu item. It’s the regular beef patty and cheese with all the toppings, but it’s not sandwiched in between two grilled cheese sandwiches. You heard that right. This is basically three items in one.

Taco Bell: Cheesarito

For the vegetarians out there, Taco Bell has a secret menu item that is just for you. The Cheesarito is a soft tortilla with melted cheese, sauce, and scallions. It’s a way to buck some of the traditional menu options while also getting the signature Taco Bell taste.

Burger King: Rodeo Burger

The Rodeo Burger has been offered in other countries as part of the chain’s menu but is a secret offering here in the States. It is a standard hamburger but on top is crispy onion rings and BBQ sauce as well. This offers a bit of a different spin on the standard BK offerings.
