Salma Hayek attended the 76th annual Cannes Film Festival and dressed to the nines in order to see the premiere of Leonardo DiCaprio’s Killers of the Flower Moon, directed by Martin Scorsese and also starring Lily Gladstone and Robert de Niro. Appearing on the red carpet in an electrifying plum gown, Hayek nearly stole the show as the Magic Mike’s Last Dance star looked as stunning as ever.

Salma Hayek carefully chose a selection of photos from the red carpet at the Cannes Festival to post on her Instagram account, all of which show off her gorgeous gown from different angles, so her fans online could see the full panorama of her fit from the night.

The dark purple Alexander McQueen gown was the embodiment of drama as it accentuated her décolletage with its deep, plunging bodice. The mermaid skirt gracefully hugged her figure, culminating in a chic, trailing train. The shoulders were adorned with exquisite, sculptural winged ruffles, while a corresponding upturned ruffle graced her knee, adding a touch of whimsy and extra flare.

To elevate the ensemble, Salma Hayek elegantly styled her hair in a regal, crown-like bun, and adorned herself with eye-catching statement jewelry. Among her dazzling accessories were a resplendent diamond necklace, a sizable ring, and a coordinating bracelet, all exuding opulence and glamour.

While Salma Hayek may have been the focus of the red carpet, the star of the festival was DiCaprio’s new film, Killers of the Flower Moon. The star-studded film features a stellar cast, including the aforementioned DiCaprio, Gladstone, and de Niro, as well as Brendan Fraser and Jesse Plemons, with the masterful Martin Scorsese at the helm as director. Set in the 1920s, the gripping narrative revolves around the harrowing series of murders targeting members of the Osage tribe following the discovery of oil on their land.

In addition to her acting career and being a fashion icon, Salma Hayek is also well known for her advocacy work. She has made significant contributions to various causes, including supporting migrant rights and raising awareness about gender-based violence. Over the course of her career, the 56-year-old actress has garnered acclaim for her talent and intelligence, while also breaking barriers for Latin Americans in the entertainment industry.
