Salma Hayek hit the red carpet at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in London this week and she looked absolutely stunning. The star showed out in a plunging red Vivienne Westwood gown. She perfectly pulled together the look with some black heels.

Along with seeing Salma Hayek hit the red carpet this week, we also got to see her in the first steamy trailer for the anticipated Magic Mike’s Last Dance. The threequel once again brings back Channing Tatum as the titular stripper Magic Mike, who sparks up a romance with Hayek’s character. As you can see in the trailer, it appears the two will also work together to put on what looks to be an incredible show at a theater in London.

Along with Channing Tatum and Salma Hayek, the third entry to the Magic Mike franchise will star Gavin Spokes, Caitlin Gerard, Christopher Bencomo, Ayub Khan Din, and Juliette Motamed. Steven Soderbergh returns to direct with a script by Reid Carolin. Fittingly, the film will be released in time for Valentine’s Day, so you can catch it in theaters on February 10, 2023

However, we don’t have to wait all the way until next year to see another project from Salma Hayek. She’ll be reprising her role in a decidedly more family-friendly film when she plays Kitty Softpaws in Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. Puss in Boots sees Antonio Banderas return as Puss in Boots, who goes on an adventure to restore his nine lives after he learns he’s already used up eight of them.

Along with Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish will star  Olivia Colman, Harvey Guillén, Samson Kayo, Wagner Moura, Anthony Mendez, John Mulaney, Florence Pugh, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, and Ray Winstone. The film is directed by Joel Crawford with a script by Paul Fisher. You can catch Puss in Boots: The Last Wish when it hits theaters on December 21.

It’s be good to see Salma Hayek hit the screen once again, as we haven’t seen her in any new feature-length projects all year. This is in stark contrast to her 2021 run of films that included major releases like the Oscar-nominated House of Gucci, the Marvel blockbuster Eternals, and the action-thriller Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard. Hopefully, we can expect some more projects from her in 2023 other than the aforementioned Magic Mike’s Last Dance.

Although there’s not a release date for it yet, we can reasonably expect to see Salma Hayek star in her upcoming drama Without Blood in 2023. The film is in the post-production stages, so it’s hard to believe we’d have to wait until 2024 to see it. Without Blood is set up to be quite the prestige drama and it pretty much has Oscars written all over it.

For one, Without Blood is directed and adapted by Angelina Jolie, based on the novel by Alessandro Baricco. The cast is also great, with Salma Hayek and Demian Bichir starring. We’ll keep you updated on this project along with any other films on Hayek’s docket.
