You have probably heard the term “Disney adult,” that references those grown-ups who were raised at the peak of Disney through the 90s and 00s that still hold a love for the company to this day. While we may think of those regular everyday visitors or influencers to the theme parks, celebrities are not above nerding out on the experiences the Disney movies, tv shows, and parks give them regularly. One of those celebrities who have been unapologetic in their love of the company is Rebel Wilson, but according to People Magazine, her record isn’t exactly pure as she revealed she was banned for 30 days for taking an unauthorized photo.

Wilson is known for being a massive fan of Disney, so while she is not on the set of her next big film, she spends a lot of time strolling through Disneyland. On one particular occasion, she took a photo inside a secret bathroom that explicitly prohibits photography, she revealed on an episode of The Daily Show. The incident earned Rebel Wilson a 30-day ban from the park.

Disney parks are a place for joy, magic, and experiencing everything the cast members have in store for you, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t particular rules that all parkgoers must follow. One of the more unknown guidelines visitors must follow is that you cannot bring your own folding chair, regardless of how nice it would be to watch the parade or fireworks. Another is that Disney adults are prohibited from dressing as Disney characters to avoid children mistaking them for cast members, and no one is allowed to cosplay them.

For Rebel Wilson, she made the mistake of ignoring one of these rules, and the result was her getting a phone call that disinvited her from The Magic Kingdom for an entire month. Of course, being Rebel Wilson, she didn’t get the typical banning treatment, as the call she received was doing more than just telling her she couldn’t go for thirty days; it was also asking her which thirty days she would like to schedule her probation for. This fact was one that host of The Daily Show, Hasan Minhaj, used as proof that she was famous, as normal everyday Disney adults wouldn’t get that kind of courtesy.

Of course, even in the sphere of celebrities that love Disney, Rebel Wilson is one of the more extreme, as she made a splash with an unconventional wedding proposal. The Pitch Perfect actor reached out to CEO Bob Iger to get his clearance to propose to her girlfriend, Ramona Agruma. According to an interview on The Drew Berrymore Show, she revealed she got special permission to get an area roped off, topiary trees brought in, and a violin to play Disney classics.

She isn’t the only celebrity who is known for their love of The Magic Kingdom. John Stamos is known to have dropped $20,000 or more on a “Welcome to Disney” sign, and Arianna Grande spent one of her birthdays at the parks. Of course, Rebel Wilson is the only one we know of so far that has the honor of being banned for breaking a coveted rule.
