See Marvel’s Tessa Thompson Wearing Something Without A Top

Tessa Thompson wore a dress with large flowers as a bra at the Vanity Fair Oscar party, and it's an interesting look.

The Vanity Fair Oscars party is the perfect time for celebrities to get a fit off, and Tessa Thompson took that challenge to heart. The Marvel and Creed actor hit the red carpet in a stunning Moschino Pre-Fall 2023 gown with a rose bralette at the event. Jeremey Scott, creative director of Moschino, also provided looks for Angela Bassett, Noomi Rapace, and Ariana DeBose.

Tessa Thompson’s newest film Creed III recently hit theaters, and the film is already a major commercial and critical success. The film follows the continued story of Michael B. Jordan’s Adonis Creed, who faces his greatest challenge when a former childhood friend (Jonathan Majors) resurfaces to take him on in the ring. Creed III is also Jordan’s directorial debut, taking his love for anime and incorporating the influences heavily into the fight scenes.

It’s not surprising that Creed III is doing so well and now it seems like there may be a Creed universe on the way. Of course, Creed itself is a rebooted spin-off of the Rocky franchise, with Jordan playing Apollo Creed’s son. We could be seeing more of Tessa Thompson’s character in future installments.

While Tessa Thompson’s 2023 is already off to a strong start, we shouldn’t ignore her hot streak of projects in 2022. Thompson reprised two of her biggest roles as Valkryie in the MCU’s Thor: Love and Thunder and Charlotte Hale in HBO’s Westworld. She also nabbed a 2022 BAFTA award nomination for her performance in the 2021 film Passing.

It might be hard to beat starring in an MCU film and a major HBO series, but Creed III is certainly proving to be one of Tessa Thompson’s best projects yet. As for what the future holds, Deadline reported back in August that Thompson is attached to star in a sci-fi thriller called Ash. The team onboard for Ash is already impressive, so this could be another huge role for Thompson.

Along with Tessa Thompson, Ash will co-star Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Grammy-winning artist Flying Lotus is attached to direct, and Neill Blomkamp (District 9) is executive producing. Ash will follow Thompson as a woman who wakes up on a distant planet after her crew is killed and must decide if she can trust the person sent to rescue her (Gordon-Levitt). FlyLo will also be composing an original score for the film.

Ash could certainly turn out to be something special, but in the meantime, fans are wondering when we can expect to see Tessa Thompson pop up in the MCU again. Valkyrie was last seen presiding over New Asgard again after helping to take down Christian Bale’s Gorr the God Butcher. It doesn’t seem like we should expect to see her character in any upcoming projects soon, but it seems likely that we should at least pop up in one or both of the upcoming Avengers films.

Thor: Love and Thunder wasn’t the most well-received MCU film, but there is still plenty of love for all the characters. Tessa Thompson would certainly be missed if she didn’t appear in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, especially since the Avengers are facing off against her Creed III co-star Jonathan Majors as Kang.
