Mariska Hargitay was dropping jaws when she appeared at the Fashion Group International’s 38th Night of Stars gala’s red carpet to honor Christian Siriano. Hargitay’s stunning blue suit ensemble wowed as she presented the fashion designer (who also designed her look) with the Fashion Star Award. Of course, Hargitay took to Instagram to share the look with her fans.

When Mariska Hargitay isn’t serving stunning looks on red carpets, she’s best known for her role as Olivia Benson in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. The actress has been on the show since 1999 and has starred in over 500 episodes. Right now, she’s in her 24th season for Law & Order: Special Victims Unit with the next episode set to air on October 27.

Mariska Hargitay has also jumped around to make appearances in other shows in Dick Wolf’s Law & Order universe, including her most recent appearance in the mothership series Law & Order. Hargitay appeared in the premiere episode of the currently airing 22nd season of Law & Order, which added Mehcad Brooks to the main cast of the show after Anthony Anderson left the series after Season 21. The next episode of Law & Order is also set to air on October 27.

Finally, Mariska Hargitay is also a recurring presence on the newest series in the Law & Order franchise with Law & Order: Organized Crime, which stars her long-time SVU co-star Christopher Meloni as Elliott Stabler. Law & Order: Organized Crime is more serialized than the other series in the franchise and features Stabler joining a task force in the Organized Crime Control Bureau. Law & Order: Organized Crime is in its third season and will also air its next episode on October 27th.

Mariska Hargitay stays pretty busy with all of the Law & Order franchise shows she’s on, so it’s not too surprising that these are really the only TV projects she has on her schedule. The Law & Order seasons are not short by any means, with her primary role on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit often having 20 episodes or more per season. You have to imagine those shooting schedules don’t leave a ton of time for movies and additional TV shows.

Not that Mariska Hargitay necessarily needs to take on more work, considering her role on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit nets her $13 million per season or roughly $500,000 per episode according to Forbes. It’s also entirely possible that Hargitay has negotiated to make more than that in recent years. With her impressive per-episode salary, Hargitay is easily one of the highest-paid TV actresses working today.

Fans do have to wonder though, after playing Olivia Benson for over two decades, will Mariska Hargitay want to stick around for much longer? It doesn’t seem like she’s going anywhere, considering her character was considering retirement in the last season of SVU but has changed her mind in the most recent season. Still, Kelli Giddish is leaving her role as Amanda Rollins at the end of Season 24, so things will definitely be shaken up a bit in the casting department.
