Margot Robbie showed up to the Sydney Babylon premiere, looking every bit the glamorous movie star that she is. After a pretty bad 2022 (movie-wise, anyway), Robbie is back in her home country and turning heads in a floor-length gown.

Finally, back home after completing an international publicity tour for the Australian actress’s most recent release, Babylon, Margot Robbie premiered her new film in her home country. The actress was all smiles as she walked the red carpet in a stunning white satin gown that boasted a deep plunge collar and a daring high slit that cut above the actress’ thigh. The slit and the train of the dress were embellished with a bright red lace that strikingly contrasted with the radiant white satin of the dress.

A diamond was adorned on each shoulder strap of the dress, matching the diamond wedding ring Margot Robbie wore on her finger. Besides her wedding ring, The Wolf of Wallstreet actress wore no other jewelry. She wore white stilettos that matched the dress in simplicity and elegance with only a single strap around the ankle and toes. The actress wore a natural makeup look with light pink lips, and she wore her hair down in natural waves that fell over her shoulders and down her back.

Although The Wolf of Wallstreet would be considered the actress’s big break, Margot Robbie began her acting career long before the 2013 crime comedy was released. The actress and producer got her start on television with the popular Australian soap opera Neighbours before moving to the United States, where she led the one-season drama series Pan Am. After the critically acclaimed film The Wolf of Wallstreet was released, fame came quickly for Robbie, and she subsequently was nominated for two Academy Awards, five British Academy Film Awards, four Golden Globes, and Five Screen Actors Guild Awards due to her excellent acting in various films she was in.

However, despite being in many critically acclaimed features and gaining a major fan base around her portrayal of the fan-favorite DC villain/anti-hero Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad (2016), Birds of Prey (2020), and The Suicide Squad (2021), Margot Robbie’s most recent movies have been considered a couple of flops. In fact, Robbie is being blamed for 2022’s biggest film misses of the year because both Amsterdam and Babylon have received pretty terrible numbers, and Robbie is the only actor who was a part of both of them.

Fortunately for the actress, it’s a new year, which means she’s got a shot at redemption. Margot Robbie has two films set to come out in 2023, the Wes Anderson romantic comedy Asteroid City and the highly anticipated Greta Gerwig adventure comedy based on the Mattel dollBarbie

In addition to Margot Robbie, Asteroid City will star Tom Hanks, Hong Chao, Scarlett Johanson, Edward Norton, Bryan Cranston, Maya Hawke, and Steve Carell. Robbie plays the titular character in Barbie, which will also feature Ryan Gosling as Ken, with Helen Mirren, Nicola Coughlan, and Will Ferrel also joining the cast.
