With Spring coming around, more and more celebrities are taking the opportunity to flash some fashion updates in honor of the weather changing for the positive. One of those was Lily Collins who took to Instagram to show off a dress that most definitely took care of nearly every color in the rainbow. While the background was about as plain as can be, the color schemes definitely pop off the screen. There’s a reason this thing got major traction on the social media platform.

With the simple message “Spring is in the air”, Lily Collins made it pretty clear the theme of the post and the dress looks every part ready for the season. The post instantly got major attention on Instagram and as of this writing was sitting at almost 340,000 likes. And it’s easy to see why Lily Collins has amassed such a massive online following. Her Instagram account has nearly 27 million followers, a staggering number even for a celebrity of her standing. Check out the post and see if Spring has sprung in the world of Lily Collins. It most definitely looks to be the case.

Not all of the Instagram posts by Lily collins are on the fashion tip, at least not in this obvious a way. The actress definitely has it in her bag though and recently has been posting outfits she’s been wearing on a media tour promoting her latest movie. That included stops at Live with Kelly and Ryan and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. She even had a post honoring the last concert her father, Phil Collins, performed with Genesis. That went down late last week in a final performance with the iconic band.

The latest movie from Lily Collins was Windfall on Netflix. The movie is an insular thriller with Collins playing the wife of Jesse Plemons’ tech mogul. The two have come to retreat at their second home only to stumble on Jason Segel’s character who has been squatting there for a bit. Segel’s “Nobody” character ends up taking the couple hostage and so begins a tense (though sometimes funny) film that has the three squared off at a standstill as they work out the finer details of the impromptu hostage situation. While the script isn’t perfect (it’s sitting at 60% on Rotten Tomatoes), the three leads are excellent with Lily Collins playing a woman somewhat trapped in her world with Plemons’ character.

Next up for Lilly Collins is Halo of Stars which centers on a traveling circus and the relationships formed among the performers and their families. That film is currently in post-production. And she’s also set to star in Titan, a mystery movie in which her character is trying to solve the mysterious death of her activist sister. And finally, she is set to star opposite Bill Skarsgard and Christoph Waltz in Gilded Rage,  the true story of the death of Thomas Gilbert. So it’s all looking up for the talented actress whose star is definitely still on the rise.
