Kristen Bell has always been a beloved on-screen actress since bursting onto the scene in Veronica Mars, but she’s also arguably known just as well known for her voice-acting thanks to her role in the Disney smash hits Frozen and Frozen II as Anna. Recently, she had the chance to sing her heart out as Anna with The New York Pops at Carnegie Hall. To celebrate the occasion, Kristen Bell showed out in an elegant white dress. Check out her Instagram post about it below:

The New York Pops orchestra held a 39th-anniversary gala at Carnegie Hall where they performed the music of Bobby and Kristen Anderson Lopez, whom Kristen Bell made sure to thank in her post. Of course, the music just wouldn’t be quite the same without the vocal talents of the Frozen cast so Bell, Josh Gad (Olaf), and Santino Fontano (Hans) were there to celebrate as well. As a bonus, fans were also treated to performances from the Broadway cast of Frozen the Musical, including Samantha Barks, Caissie Levy, and Patti Murin. Bell also tagged her stylist, makeup artist, and everyone else responsible for helping bring her stage-worthy look together.

Though the Frozen franchise is definitely some of the more kid-friendly content in Kristen Bell’s repertoire, her most recent show is definitely not for the whole family. The impossibly long-titled The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window was released as a limited series on Netflix earlier this year. The show depicts Bell as a woman who may or may not have witnessed a murder at her handsome neighbor’s house. The show was met with middling reviews from critics and audiences with a 54% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes and a slightly worse 47% audience score.

Kristen Bell also has a couple of projects in the pipeline. First up is a comedy titled The People We Hate at the Wedding. That movie is billed as a story about family tensions ramping up a week before a half-sister’s wedding. In addition to Bell, the cast includes Allison Janney, Tony Goldwyn, Dustin Milligan, Ben Platt, and more. After that, Bell will be reunited with her Frozen co-star Jonathan Groff in Molly and the Moon. Molly and the Moon is conceived by How I Met Your Mother creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas. The movie is set to be another musical for Groff and Bell, but it will be live-action unlike the Frozen flicks. The premise of Molly and the Moon is inspired by Craig Thomas’ experience of his baby needing to go through heart surgery shortly after being born and needing to be placed in an incubator. Molly in the Moon will be about a baby going on a journey within the womb to begin its life after hearing lullabies from the moon. Bell and Groff will be playing Molly’s parents.

If you weren’t lucky enough to hear Kristen Bell perform her Frozen hits in person, at least we have another musical from her in the works. For now, you’ll just have to check out pictures of the night from Instagram or go and stream the movies again!
