Katherine McNamara has a strong social media presence, often sharing behind-the-scenes photos from her latest projects. But the images fans love most are the relatively impromptu snaps in racy see-through outfits. And the Arrow alum never disappoints. She recently shared two images in a very revealing dress, alongside a Virginia Woolf quote.

“I want everything… love, adventure, intimacy, work,” Katherine McNamara wrote. Dressed in a black mini dress with a plunging neckline, the Walker: Independence star is seen posing provocatively against a brick wall. She completed her look with black, high-heeled sandals and minimal makeup. Her blonde hair is loosely styled over her shoulders.

In the second image, Katherine McNamara accessorizes her dress with a black leather jacket worn just on her arms. While she is best known for her work as Mia Smoak in The CW hit show, Arrowversethe 27-year-old also has an impressive list of film credits. She starred as Lily Bowman in the 2011 romantic comedy New Year’s Eve, and as Rosa in A Sort of Homecoming in 2015.

The young actress also won a Teen and People’s Choice Award for her work as Clary Fray on the supernatural drama series Shadowhunters which ran for three seasons. In 2020, she credited the show for keeping her in great physical form. Speaking to Women’s Health, Katherine McNamara said she trained for intense fight scenes with HIIT and boxing workouts.

“To do the fight scenes I needed a lot of upper body strength because I would be holding weapons all day,” Katherine McNamara told the publication. She also needed muscle control, so high-intensity interval training was the perfect fit. “I was able to keep up my cardio stamina and build upon that so I could do the fight scenes, which are basically just sprints,” she continued.

Katherine McNamara also worked with a boxing trainer three to five times a week during production. She explained that her routine builds the shape of muscles, which is great since she needed to look like a fighter. But the best part is that every workout is fun. “I know most people hate leg day but I love it. It’s what makes me feel strongest,” the Maze Runner alum added.

Since then, Katherine McNamara has starred as Julie Lawry in the post-apocalyptic miniseries The Stand. In 2022, she was cast in the lead role of Abby Walker in Walker: Independence. Developed by Anna Fricke, it serves as a prequel to Walker.

It also stars Matt Barr as Hoyt Rawlins and Katie Findlay as Kate Carver. Greg Hovanessian, Philemon Chambers, Justin Johnson Cortez, and Lawrence Kao also star.

Walker: Independence is set in the late 1800s and follows Abby Walker (Katherine McNamara), an affluent woman whose husband is murdered on their journey West. When she crosses paths with a lovable rogue in search of purpose named Hoyt Rawlins, their journey takes them to Independence, Texas. Once there, the duo encounters a diverse group of citizens hiding from their demons and chasing their dreams. The status of a second season remains unclear.
