See-through fashion seems to be one of Kate Hudson’s favorite ways to roll, and that didn’t change this week when the Almost Famous star attended the Stella McCartney x Adidas party. Hudson donned an outfit designed by McCartney, wearing a blue blazer, skirt, and see-through bra. You can see her in the image below with McCartney herself in the middle and, on the other side, Hudson’s Glass Onion co-star Madelyn Cline.

The tweet comes from the Whiskey’s Wife account, a fan page dedicated to Madelyn Cline. Her character’s name is Whiskey in the popular Netflix whodunnit Glass Onion, and she’s an opportunistic girlfriend to Dave Bautista’s Duke Cody. Kate Hudson plays supermodel Birdie Jay in the film, who is indebted to the billionaire Miles Bron (Edward Norton) for backing her line of designer sweatpants.

The Stella McCartney x Adidas party proved a popular one for both celebrities and celebrity watchers, and another shot of Kate Hudson in the McCartney outfit was distributed widely online. The shot featured the How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days actress hanging out with singer Demi Lovato.

If Kate Hudson’s revealing swimwear in the recent Glass Onion: A Knives Out Story didn’t make it clear that the actress, physically speaking, doesn’t feel she has anything to hide, her penchant for choosing see-through looks should do the trick. She posted a photo of herself from British Vogue’s 2023 Hollywood Portfolio in January in a black see-through dress, and wore a much more glittery see-through gown in November for the red carpet premiere of Glass Onion.

She wore another black see-through dress for a screening of Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon.

We can only assume Kate Hudson will wow us all with even more see-through looks soon at screenings of her next feature, the indie comedy A Little White Lie. Based on the 2013 novel Shriver by Chris Belden, the film stars Michael Shannon (Man of Steel) as a man who shares the name of a famous reclusive writer and, when he’s mistakenly invited to a literary festival, takes the opportunity to masquerade as the author. Hudson plays Simone Cleary, the professor who invites the wrong Shriver to be honored.

Written and directed by Michael Maren (A Short History of Decay), the film will also star Don Johnson (Watchmen) and Zach Braff (Scrubs) as the real Shriver. It will receive a wide theatrical and digital release on March 3rd.

A Little White Lie is the latest Kate Hudson screen project we know about, but she’s apparently going to be releasing a music album some time in the next year. It’s also possible she has a few projects she can’t talk about just yet. The star has expressed her interest in joining the MCU — which both her stepfather Kurt Douglas and half-brother Wyatt Douglas have made appearances in — and Marvel Studios is known for its requirements of secrecy.
