Kate Hudson’s social media is the go-to source for her fabulous looks. A prolific actress in the early and mid aughts, Hudson is more noticeable today for her style and athleisure wear. Her most recent post has demonstrated a chic look for the holiday season. On Instagram, the actress is shown sporting an elegant black party dress while sipping on a cocktail. There is no doubt that Hudson is looking better than ever. And she is using her celebrity to spread a good message.
It isn’t just any martini that the actress is consuming on her social media. In her caption, Kate Hudson calls this an “Immunitini.” Health supporters can check out her stories for the recipe which includes the normal ingredients for a martini as well as immune defense powder. This recipe is in conjunction with her partnership with In Bloom. In Bloom offers a line of nutritional powders that Hudson states are all natural. One of Kate Hudson’s biggest ventures is her line of athletic wear. Her brand is called Fabletics and has attracted many more celebrities to wear her products including her own famous mother Goldie Hawn (via Us Magazine). Hudson co-founded Fabletics in 2013 and it has grown exponentially since then. Additional actresses have endorsed the products including Riverdale’s own HBIC Madelaine Petsch in February of 2021. Hudson can be seen modeling one athletic suit while doing a puzzle on Instagram. Clearly, she continues to be committed to her brand of health and wellness, but that is not all that she has on her plate.
One upon a time, Hudson achieved fame not only from her famous parents, but also her own acting ability. She was nominated for an Academy Award for her portrayal of Penny Lane in Almost Famous. The actress was also notable for appearing in romantic comedies, often featuring Matthew McConaughey. Kate Hudson seemed to have changed careers and let acting be a thing of the past, but she isn’t through just yet.
Just this year, Kate Hudson has appeared in three different films. The one with the most controversy was a film written and directed by Sia entitled Music. The actress received a Golden Globe nomination for her role as Zu, but the film also received significant backlash (via Variety). The biggest complaint about the film was that it depicted its main character Music to have autism but was not portrayed by an actor who was on the spectrum. When prompted, Hudson acknowledged that this criticism had started a dialogue that is important and that all relevant parties associated with the the film “are listening.”
Other than this brief setback, Hudson can also be found in a few upcoming films. The most anticipated film is the sequel to Knives Out. Daniel Craig is the only returning star from the original, but Knives Out 2 has just as an impressive cast as the first one. Joining Kate Hudson as Detective Benoit Blanc embarks on a new case will be Kathryn Hahn, Edward Norton, and Leslie Odom Jr. (via People). Hudson has been seen filming in Greece with the rest of the cast. Fans can see the new film when it premieres on Netflix.
