Kate Beckinsale shows off some of her most elegant and sexy outfits on her social media pages, but this time she wore a tube top, miniskirt, and odd face on her newest ensemble.
Having started her career as a model, it’s not surprising that Kate Beckinsale sets the internet on fire every time she shares a photo on social media. Less than a week after posing in pink bunny ears, the English actress shared a set of images from an impromptu photo shoot on her couch. Dressed in a revealing black crop top and miniskirt emblazoned with popular EastEnders character Dot Cotton, the Pearl Harbor alum struck a sultry pose for the camera.
The actress let her wavy brown locks cascade over her shoulders. To maintain a relatively natural look, Kate Beckinsale kept her makeup simple with nude matte lipstick and smokey eye shadow. The Underworld star credited makeup artist Katrina Klein, hairdresser Scott King and manicurist Miwa Kobayashi for creating her glamorous look. She captioned the post with the very British phrase “OiOi” much to the delight of her followers.
While Kate Beckinsale’s skirt may seem like a strange choice, it was a cool tribute to the EastEnders legend. Known for her love of gossip, Dot was one of the British soap operas most beloved characters. Portrayed by June Brown, the cigarette-wielding launderette assistant first appeared on the soap in 1985 as the long-suffering mother of her criminal son Nick. Due to creative differences, she left the show in 1993 before returning in 1997. The character was permanently written out of the series following the death of the star earlier this year.

Now, having cemented her place as a romantic lead (Serendipity) and action star (Whiteout), the 48-year-old splits her focus between smaller projects and tent pole blockbusters. Her next film is an untitled comedy written and directed by Charlie Day. The story follows a silent character who becomes an accidental celebrity only to lose it all. The is no release date available currently.
Interestingly, Kate Beckinsale still finds the time to maintain an active social media presence. In an interview with Flaunt Magazine, the London-born star admitted that her online content is specifically created for her mom, Judy Loe. “I know that when she wakes up in the morning, the first thing she’ll do is see what I’ve been up to,” she told the publication (via the Daily Mail). The actress explained that although her fun, amusing and cute posts are largely aimed at her mom, the fact that other people enjoy them is good too.
The actress has a close relationship with her mother. In March, Kate Beckinsale shared a touching video of them dancing around the kitchen to her celebrate her mom’s 75th birthday. The clip was followed by a carousel of snaps to honor her. In the caption, the star referred to her mom as the “most beautiful shining light of life”. She also highlighted her kindness, bravery, loyalty, grace, generosity, and good manners.
