See Kate Beckinsale Show Off Perfect Abs And A Tough Kitty

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Kate Beckinsale battle vampires and werewolves in the Underworld series, but her recent Instagram post proves she’s still in action-hero shape. Beckinsale made a post where she looked as ripped as ever, but a special guest managed to steal the show. Beckinsale’s cat is the clear focus of the shot, and it looks especially fashionable with a sporty black hoodie and a gold chain:
Kate Beckinsale captioned the post with a cheeky “get up on this,” presumably referencing the classic Salt-N-Pepa jam “Push It.” Both Beckinsale and her cat look more than ready to star in a music video. Or at least choreograph a TikTok dance for the song.
Undoubtedly, Kate Beckinsale fans would love to see her return to an action-ready role, especially when she clearly looks the part, but she’ll actually be flexing her comedy chops first. Charlie Day finally announced a release date for his long-gestating satirical film Fool’s Paradise. After extensive rewrites (under the advisement of Guillermo del Toro no less), Day will be releasing the film on May 12.
Day writes, directs, and stars in Fool’s Paradise which follows a publicist (Ken Jeong) who finds a man recently released from a mental health facility (Day) who looks exactly like a famous method actor who refuses to leave his trailer. He manages to make the man a massive star and with the help of a mega-producer (Ray Liotta) and a beautiful leading lady (Kate Beckinsale). Along with being one of the late Ray Liotta’s final performances, the rest of the cast is stacked with names like Adrien Brody, Jason Sudeikis, Common, John Malkovich, Edie Falco, Travis Fimmel, Jillian Bell, Jimmi Simpson, Katherine McNamara, Dean Norris, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Lance Barber, Alanna Ubach, and Glenn Howerton.
However, if you missed seeing Kate Beckinsale in action mode, you’ll be happy to hear about her next project after Fool’s Paradise. Beckinsale is starring in the upcoming action film Canary Black as Avery Graves, a CIA operative who is blackmailed by terrorists who have kidnapped her husband to betray her country. Graves must rely on her underground network and training to get access to the secrets they want.
Along with starring Kate Beckinsale, Canary Black has a great team behind the camera as well. Pierre Morel, responsible for directing Taken, is on board, which could mean potential sequels if it can find the same success as that beloved Liam Neeson franchise. Beckinsale will also star alongside Rupert Friend (Obi-Wan Kenobi), with a supporting cast that includes Saffron Burrows, Ben Miles, Ana Cilas, Andrei Lenart, Goran Kostic, and Luka Alagic.
If you want to check out Kate Beckinsale’s most recent film, it’s called Prisoner’s Daughter. The film co-stars Succession‘s Brian Cox as a prisoner who attempts to reconnect with his estranged daughter (Beckinsale) before succumbing to his cancer.
