When it comes to actresses slaying on Instagram, one thing is true – there’s no shortage of them. From Sofia Vergara to Christina Ricci and Hayden Panettiere, some of the biggest names in Hollywood are constantly blowing our minds through their beauty and dedication to bringing high fashion to their socials. Perhaps at the top of the list is Kate Beckinsale, who’s again wowed us today in an Instagram post (which you can see above) that features the Pearl Harbor actress in a light-pink nightie and combat boots.
You read that right; Kate Beckinsale is getting ready to hit the hay in polished leather, buckled, platform combat boots, with a pal, who from the caption, has been introduced to followers as the model’s “ideal school bestie.” In the double content series, the duo first strikes a serious look for their pajama party, complete with Beckinsale kicking her leg up for a dramatic flair. The nightgowns are light pink and see-through, with Beckinsale showing off white lingerie while her friend layers with a colorful nightgown.
The second slide is a more fun-loving boomerang that features a costume change for Kate Beckinsale who now appears in a yellow two-piece short and button-up shirt combo. Having the time of their lives, Beckinsale and her guest have a pillow fight on, presumably, Beckinsale’s bed. Smiles abound as the ladies look like they’re enjoying catching up during a low-key night in.
The sleepover is the perfect way for Kate Beckinsale to unwind while cameras role on her upcoming feature, Canary Black. With filming currently underway in Croatia, we’re guessing the star hasn’t had a lot of time to kick back and relax with friends, meaning her girl’s night was all the more needed. Just last week, we caught our first view of Beckinsale in the Pierre Morel (Taken, Peppermint) helmed feature, and it looks like it’s going to be a winner for action fans.
The feature will see Kate Beckinsale as CIA agent Avery Graves who finds herself entangled in a terrorist plot after her husband is kidnapped. To retrieve her spouse safely, she’ll need to go against her country and the orders of the CIA. After the government agency drops out of the picture and refuses to work alongside Graves in the search and rescue of her husband, the agent moves to seek the help of her less-than-savory contacts in the dark-sided underbelly of the business.
In the feature, the super smart Kate Beckinsale will star alongside Rupert Fiend, who was recently seen opposite Charlie Hunnam and Mel Gibson in Tim Kirkby’s Last Looks. As for Beckinsale, who’s making a semi-comeback after not having appeared as regularly in features as she once did, she’ll soon be seen in the Charlie Day (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) helmed comedy El Tonto alongside Jason Sudeikis, Edie Falco, and John Malkovich.
The Underworld franchise star will also soon be seen in Catherine Hardwick’s (Twilight, Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities) familial drama, Prisoner’s Daughter, where she’ll star opposite Succession star, Brian Cox. You can see Beckinsale’s sleepover look in the Instagram post at the top.
